Celebrity Big Brother chiefs have been forced to ramp up security ahead of tonight’s double eviction after Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag became the subject of an online hate campaign.

Channel 5 producers have ensured the couple will get close protection from minders when they exit the house.

Heidi, 26, and Spencer, 29, are losing fans by the day as they continue to rile their housemates.

One fan tweeted: ‘Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are two of the most disgusting heartless humans ever.’

Another added: ‘I don’t think I’d ever get bored of punching Heidi Montag in the face.’

‘I want to kill Speidi the heartless cold creatures, they shouldnt be aloud to walk this earth, disgusting, should be ashamed of yourselves!!’ one fan raged.

Show staff are stunned at how quickly the couple’s popularity had plummeted.

One crew member told the Daily Star: ‘Initially everyone seemed to love their meddling. But now it’s turned into real hatred.’
