I may have got off on the wrong foot with people yesterday. Just have a problem with poor English.
On a slightly critical, but non thretening note, I have the following comment.
I do not like the smilies on this board. I feel a little frightend by them, particulally big grin and angry. Any chance of making them a little less threataning?

Hi Spelling Bee

Personally I really like the Big Grin smilie and don't feel threatened by it at all, but I do sort of know what you mean with the 'Angry' one, it does look especially mean. I'll see what Mark thinks.

As far as your posts yesterday go, you could hardly blame me for getting annoyed as you didn't post anything that wasn't a direct criticism of something that Mark wrote. Also, two of your comments were about things that were obviously typing errors and not 'poor English' at all.

We're a friendly lot here and I for one am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but the one thing I will say is that this board is meant to be for fun and isn't an English class. I should know, I used to be an English Teacher.

Oh, by the way, the correct spelling of 'thretening/threataning' is theatening.

Yeah, Spelling Bee I'm willing to forgive!
The smilies are very basic, they came with the forum. I am looking for some new ones that no other forum has...which is a bit tricky at the moment. I will put it on my "to do" list over the weekend!
