so my question is is it alright to walk downtown with my ex but as friends

Why would it not be alright to have a walk with your ex, if you now consider each other to be friends?

I mean if you hate each other's guts then I'd probably avoid it but if you get on as friends still then I don't see what the issue is? Or is there someone else involved that'd potentially take issue with it?
