Two separate areas etc, celeb side v normal side, or a mix, perhaps have a mole one one side.
Tasks, nom twists, etc. Once the celebs finish there stint it could roll over into a normal bb for the remaining 5/6 weeks.
Would boost the ratings for normal bb and its an original/fresh twist.
Not sure how it would work in regard to crowning two winners though... :/
Anyone like that idea?

I'd much rather keep normal BB separate, the Celebrity HM's would get all of the air time

Hi SSL2012!
I think that as all of the BB franchise has become so stale, that any suggestion to rejuvenate it is worthwhile!
...and yours is as good a place to start as any that i've seen.
let's do it!
Cheers.

Thx, I may email the producer's about it. Just an idea, they may or may not of already thought of. Ethier way if bb wants to pull in more casuals it needs a revamp of some sorts.

Clever idea but I wouldn't want it to happen, we already have CBB overload as it is we don't need it to invade the normal series

Perhaps having a regular BB series for two months and then after two months have a Celebrity launch night where the celebs go into a second, secret house.
For example:
Start of June: BB Launch Night
Start of August: CBB Launch Night (5 Celeb HMs enter a secret house)
So after the Celeb Launch there would be 6 Celeb HMs and 8 regular HMs.
Week 1 August: One celeb is evicted. One regular HM is evicted. One regular HM is "fake" evicted and enters the celeb house. [4Celebs/1Regular HM in the secret house|6 Regular HMs in main house]
Week 2 August: One celeb is evicted. One regular HM is evicted. One regular HM is evicted. [4 Cel/1Reg|5 Regs] At the end of week two of the
Celeb HMs stay both houses are combined so that there are 10 HMs in the main house - four or five of which are celebs.
Week 3 August: One celeb is evicted. One regular HM is evicted. [3 Cel/1 Reg|4 Regs]
Wednesday Final Week: Celebrity Final. The final 3 (or 4) celebs are evicted with the winner being crowned.
Friday Final Week: The final 4 regular housemates are evicted and one is crowned the winner.
It's a bit hard to explain.
But basically, for 2 months there is a regular Big Brother series.
Then, with 4 weeks to go 5 Celebrities enter a secret house.
At the end of the first week, a regular HM enters the Celeb house, with a celeb and a regular HM being evicted.
At the end of the second week another Celeb, and a regular HM is evicted. That night all HMs join the main house, so you've got 10 housemates left with 2 weeks to go - at least 4 of which are celebrities.
At the end of the third week another celebrity and regular HM is evicted.
On the Wednesday of the final week the Celebrity final is held.
On the Friday of the final week the Regular final is held.
This way, you're having a secret house twist (which we haven't had in a while) along with celebs. And hopefully, with fewer celebs going in, you could get better ones.
And with separate finals you aren't taking away from the eventual winner. Also, by having the regular final after the Celeb one it still feels more like a normal Big Brother.
It's unlikely that celebs would enter for three months but 3 and a half weeks is likely.
Also, it would boost ratings as the viewers drift away throughout the series.
I think this would be a good twist, which hasn't been done before - but would Channel 5 sacrifice 3 weeks of further celeb series?
