Four men have been arrested in Buckinghamshire on suspicion of committing sex offences against a girl.

The four, aged 19, 20, 21 and 22 were arrested in High Wycombe on Tuesday as part of Operation Ribbon.

Supt Gilbert Houalla said Operation Ribbon was an "investigation into child sexual exploitation that began last year".

The inquiry also involves child protection staff from Buckinghamshire County Council.

This follows on from last year :

Eight men held after dawn raid on suspected Home Counties paedophile ring

21 November 2012

A gang of Asian men were arrested during pre-dawn raids yesterday on suspicion of being part of a Home Counties paedophile ring.

The eight suspects were hauled from their homes at around 5am by 100 officers after a three-month investigation into child exploitation.

Police carried out the raids after a teenage girl told them how she had been raped and abused for five years from the age of 12.

The extent of child sexual exploitation in England is rapidly becoming evident and truly appalling ......

It's always been a dirty secret, what we know about even now will be the very tip of the iceberg.

Scary, isn't it .....

Like going back to Dickensian times, when children were "expendable" .....
