been prescribed these 50 mg tablets for neuralgia, they are brilliant the pain goes pretty much straight away. the down side though are the dreams and middle of the night sweats.
i had the same issue with codiene aswell. anyone else had any of these pills
..yeah, I was prescribed them not too long ago with something else, I can't remember it's name..I can't remember much at all..it's what I call my 'dark period'...I stopped taking them, I prefer to be aware of the world around me....

My oh was prescribed tramadol after a bike accident and now takes codeine and has no side effects... I love the feeling of codeine...tramadol makes me anxious though but is a great painkiller

was the other one analtryptaline?
..no, I've just looked because I didn't take it all..it was Diazepam....
...I'm sure it's ok for some people Peter..but it just wasn't right for me...I felt too spaced out..slept most of the day, then couldn't always sleep at night...

nurofen plus is very addictive, and should be taken with caution.

diazepam is a nasty drug, so easy to get addicted to most of my patients are on diazepam as it can be used as both an analgesia and anti depressant
..yeah, well it was prescribed as an analgesia..but I think I would have been depressed if I had carried on taking it...

this drug does more harm than good in the long run.

I had tramadol but it never worked for me. Zomorph and Oramorph worked much better. Tried Co-codamol too but that didn't have much effect. Different things work for different people.

Morphine is surely the way to go. And if you get some, remember it's rude not to share...

An ex friend once gave me a bloody tramadol for period pain! the silly bitch...
When I told my sis she went mad I rarely take anything aside from the odd paracetamol.
Is there nothing else that can be done for neuralgia peter, if you are on such kick ass pain relief what happens when you build up a resistance to them?

ive tried codiene and amatryptaline and they only took the edge off. nuralgia is the worst crippling pain across between tooth ache and a migraine that affects my right side of my face. i take the tramadol onky when the pain is at its worst. so hopefulky i wont become resistant to them or addicited

I try not to take painkillers or any medication for things but recently had shingles and tramadol worked a treat as to the pain from that.
As for codeine though,I only have to think about codeine and feel sick.Marc you are very brave in my view being able to take those.
