Christopher Maloney has been slagging off The X Factor, the judges and the other acts once again.

In a new interview with 7Waves, Chris claimed that he was “walking the show” until he was sabotaged by the panel.

He suggested: “It’s a competition, I was seen as a potential threat by all the judges and you could see that throughout the show. I was getting 40-50% of all the public vote right up until week eight, so for seven weeks I was topping the vote, walking it.”

And Chris does have a point, with the Liverpudlian singer having led all the way until the quarter finals.

He claimed that the judges orchestrated to stop him from winning with claims that he was a diva.

Although it’s fair to say that the other acts hardly defended Chris, with both James Arthur and Rylan Clark adding plenty of more fuel to the fire during the series with their comments about him.

Chris explained: “I think James and Ella being in the bottom two started to sway things and also the orchestrated press that was involved.”

“I didn’t give any reason for people to say I was a diva. It’s just a shame really.

“It was quite difficult for me and my family as well.”

The worrying thing was that he was topping the votes.

I think he's right to be honest, the show set him up for a fall a few weeks in by letting stories about him being a pain in the arse get out, I don't like him but the voting percentages proved he was headed for the win early on.
