1.) You can do what you want, when you want

2.) You don’t have to spend any money on phone calls

3.) You don’t have to meet the parents

4.) You don’t have to visit them every other weekend

5.) You don’t have to pay for holidays

6.) You don’t have to remember birthdays

7.) You don’t have to remember anniversaries

8.) You can nap on Valentine’s Day

9.) You can judge other couples who are clearly miserable

10.) You can judge other couples who are going a bit OTT with their PDAs

11.) You can date

12.) Your mum doesn’t ask you awkward questions about your relationship

13.) You get in fewer arguments

14.) You only buy food for yourself

15.) You can chase your own dreams - yes, it’s a bit wanky, but it’s true…

16.) You can break wind - this applies both guys and girls

17.) You can flirt

18.) You can be spontaneous

19.) You can spend more time with your friends

20.) You don’t have to buy condoms - well, as many, anyway

21.) You can make mistakes without hating yourself

22.) You can get some peace and quiet

23.) You actually have free time

24.) You can ‘find yourself’

25.) There is plenty of time, you’re only young

26.) All your DVDs will be in your own house

27.) You can dress like a slob

28.) You don’t get moaned at for having stubble (on your legs, your face, or anywhere else for that matter)

29.) You don’t have to share

30.) No one will get jealous

31.) Accidental pregnancies are significantly less likely

32.) You can let yourself go

33.) You don’t have to lie as often

34.) Being single means you definitely have time to save for your wedding

35.) You can watch whatever you want on TV

36.) You can snore without getting an elbow in the back

37.) The duvet is ALL YOURS

38.) You don’t have to put up with their friends

39.) No one will judge your eating habits

40.) The divorce rate is 34% - it’ll only end in tears

41.) You can focus on work

42.) You can focus on finding your dream job

43.) You have more time to read articles on More Beans

44.) There are plenty more fish in the sea

45.) There are plenty more single people at work

46.) There are no toilet seat politics

47.) There’s less chance you’ll end up crying in a ball on the floor

48.) You can meet a beautiful stranger who will make your heart go BaBoom! wherever you go - and not feel guilty about it

49.) You don’t have to feel guilty about really fancying that new person at work.

50.) You can talk freely to whoever you want about really fancying that new person at work (even them)

51.) You don’t have to delete your internet history (JOKE! Sort of…)

52.) You don’t have to do things you’re not interested in

53.) You can stop pretending you like dogs/cats/children/football/shopping…

54.) You can avoid getting killed (around a quarter of females murdered in the US are killed by a husband or boyfriend)

60. You can go to Mauritius for 3 weeks, leaving the UK without a care of what Europe does and have a wild time.

60s mumbers generally - you can go where you wish without getting earache from your partner where you have been to this time and why you've come home slighlty worse for wear
