Well done Niamh,I gave up smoking 6 years ago, went cold turkey and don't miss it at all and have saved loads as I smoked 20+ a day,I feel so much better too.

Thanks Kazanne

I got acupuncture done, two sessions, I found it very helpful, the cravings have been alot shorter and less severe than any other time I tried to quit

Well done Niamh. It's really tough but worth it in the end. I don't think people appreciate how hard it is to pack in unless they have been through it.

It could be a good thing though coz you'll be conscious of not snacking when you have the cravings because of your wedding....but then the months running up to your wedding could be stressful so it might not be the best time....

Basically, I've been no help whatsoever here have I? :joker:

I'd recommend trying acupuncture if you do decide to quit, I found it a great help, it's not a miracle cure but it does make it easier. I haven't really been eating anymore than usual, in fact I've probably been eating less because I'm conscious of it. I've wanted to get out walking more too

I'm trying to give up 2 of my worst habits - smoking and masturbation. I'm finding it really tough, as I'm a 20 a day man. And I smoke like a chimney.
