Gazza - i will try and save you 04.02.13
let me start with my intro,
so long ago even i have got the blurs,
when i was young and ill,
you and your team contacted me from "Spurs".
wishing me all the best,
i particularly remember your "phrase",
you said "while you are scoring all the goals",
i should get better and come and see the amaze.
now its time for return,
its going right back to the sender,
i have got your "my story",
common knowledge is your battle and none stop bender.
you are on self destruct,
its so common in the genius,
George Best, Tony Adam, Jimmy Greaves,
they have all tried to live on Venus.
can i get through,
i hope my poem can contribute to save "Gazza",
i think this really is his last chance,
failure will lead to his memory only ever visible on a plasma.
( i have sent my poem to spurs - tried my hardest to get it to paul and now i am putting it on this forum in the hope you all support me in wishing Paul all the best and all pray he beats his addiction before it is to late. i hope he finds the strength from with in to beat this. and if Paul see's this on this forum - i really do hope he has the strength to come through these hard times in his life and see's my support for him.you sent me best wish's when i was ill paul - now reurn to sender - love you paul G.)
