Sadly, most of the differences between BB now and BB then were in place by CBB7 and BB11 (arguably BB10), and were necessary, television's changed and reality television's changed. Though there are elements I'd love to see return that I still think could be workable (live feed most importantly) and I look forward to seeing how the element we know to be returning (video auditions) effects things.

Are you unaware of the fact that Endemol controls about 90% of the show? The majority of the BB production team is the same as it was during BB10/BB11 on Channel 4. It's not like Channel 5 took over and hired an entire new crew of people. Ultimately, the BB production team have the creative say and they are the same people who produced BB on Channel 4.

From having an aunt who use to work for Channel 4 and at one stage, Endemol - I'll tell you now the numbers of staff on board they had back in the BB9/BB10 days has dropped.
However that docummentary there is brilliant. Haven't watched it since the BB11 Pre Show thing, gonna give it a full watch now :love:

Channel 4 BB was simple not expensive.

I dont understand your logic that BB needs money to be a good show?

Channel 5 are not poor, Endemol have financial difficulties but they did when it was on Channel 4. Channel 5 spend a **** load of cash on BB with advertising and celeb costs.

She'd have to have worked pretty high up to know that, who was she? There's literally no indication to support it, in fact there's some to support the opposite.

A discussion is had about it every series and to date it's been agreed not to do it, there's no indication as to which side was most for or against it though, from what Jamie East has said it's well known among the crew that the live feed cost them more than it made during BB11 so I wouldn't be surprised if they advised against it but Jeff Ford has said their decision has nothing to do with costs and that they could afford it if they wanted it.
