Chris Brown has declared that he "deserve[s] respect" in an explosive Instagram rant hitting back at criticism of his various misdeeds, claiming: "A day in my shoes is a day in hell."

The singer has been widely condemned for assaulting on-off girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, allegedly brawling with fellow R&B stars Drake and Frank Ocean, apparently bragging about his drug use and other brushes with the law.

Brown has also been accused by the Los Angeles DA's office of violating the terms of his probation for his assault on Rihanna by submitting "at best sloppy... and at worst fraudulent" reports of his court-ordered community service, though the star's lawyer has described these allegations as "frivolous, scurrilous and frankly defamatory".

Taking to his now-private Instagram account, Brown stated that he is "sick of being accused" and "pray[s] every day and night" that the negative opinion of him will change.

"Y'all tell me not to pay attention to it - how can I not when it's on my radio, TV and everything else," he said in the message to his few trusted followers.

"I'm wise. I can handle the hate, but enough is enough yo... Yes they talked about Jesus, but... I am not him. Not even close. I'm a human being and I honestly think I deserve respect."

"I'm sick of playing the victim". Oh yes, because beating up your girlfriend and then acting like a complete arrogant asshole perpetually thereafter is really you being a victim, isn't it Chris? Your fights with Drake, Frank Ocean, your odious music, and the tattoo of a bruised woman on your neck notwithstanding of course.

I just wish he'd get run over buy a bus. Maybe then he'll have some sort of epiphany and see how everyone wants him to **** off forever.

It turns out that Chris Brown's apparent rant on his Instagram account last night wasn't real, according to the New York Post. A representative for the singer reached out to the Post and told them "it's fake" while noting that Breezy doesn't have an Instagram account anymore. The aforementioned phony Instagram, ChrisRealBrown, has since been taken down.

Aren't these accounts supposed to be verified? :suspect:

Well either way I'm sure he knew that him reacting in a violent manner would make him look like even more of a twat in the media.

And even if that tattoo wasn't Rihanna, the fact still remains that he (someone who violently assaulted his partner) intentionally had a tattoo done of something that resembles a injured woman. He knew what it would look like. He knew it would have repercussions. It's his own goddamn fault.

If he did care about his image, he wouldn't be suck a reckless, stupid **** all the time. He's indefensible.
