I Love my own company sometimes. There is always someone at my house so on the rare occasion I get some alone time, I relish it....

I like being around people, but I'm too socially awkward to hold a decent conversation.

I always make sure I am totally on my own for at least 2 hours of every day. It's my re-charge time and really love it, I can gather my thoughts, plan and reflect but most of all just doing and thinking about nothing at all.

..yeah, I'm getting kind of used to it and I quite like it...I have my chatty and social times at work, where it's constant noise and activity and because my family are now much older, the house has become quiet as they do there own thing now and aren't around nearly so much..it used to be hard to find a quiet spot as it always felt that my home was overrun with random people my sons brought home...I had no idea who was here half of the time...now it feels like the complete opposite, but I'm ok with the solitude...things change, life moves on etc...I'm not a big socialising person anyway, apart from with my own family...

not really. I live with four others my age so I'm used to spending almost every night watching TV, movies, going out drinking and going to town with them and others... I get a bit bored if I'm at university and have nothing to do. But nights to myself are good at least once a week.

I'm an introvert, so yes, i love my own company.

i think i'm the most fascinating person on the planet. I literally find myself interesting.

I have arguments with myself, and i argue both sides of the argument.

I get annoyed with other people because they say things that i've already thought of. I'm like, what you're saying right now, i've already thought of and thought about and argued with myself about. so it's boring hearing it from you. It's annoying hearing other people's opinions when they are saying things that you've already thought about and already worked though.

extroverted people get on my nerves because they havn't actually put thought into what they say before they say it.

Im a bit of a loner, there is a clique at work, but also some normal people who don't have to huddle together at lunchtime but chat to whoever happens to be in the staff room. The others go to the Kitchen because they cant bear to mingle with anyone outside their group :D: strange! I work from home 3 days a week and I love that! bliss.

it really is so odd, even on playground duty, they stick together like glue, and they make very superficial conversation with the staff outside their "in group", Im not the only one that has noticed it so its not just me. As adults and outside of a playground situation I find it very odd behaviour.

This, but exactly. Never truly have time alone, but as far as non-family? Yes, probably too alone. I crash elbows at the market and wave and give a "hello" to the occasional neighbor but that's aboot it. Oh, and last week I yanked a tiny old Mexican man out of a large fridge whilst he was leaning over to get milk and began to fall. We both laughed. How stunning. :joker:

Yes. Socialising is great, but I love being at home on my home, taking the day slowly and what not.

Yes, I do like my own company, but can also get on with most people so enjoy having company round also. I will chat to almost anyone :D I come from a family of six sisters and four brothers, so I think that is why I do not mind my own company at times, but also the reason why I find it easy to get chatting to people. But with the internet and phone always close at hand, you are never really alone anyway.

Awww, what a sweet little puppy that is Nathan.

I'm quite a sociable person and enjoy having people around me.... but I love my own company. Nothing beats a night in on my own with a good book or film :)

Very much so, I am happy by myself. But I am increasingly socialising with others which is great.
