That you've visited and why? Mine is Barcelona, the architecture is so unusual and pretty, the weather is good, they have a fabulous port and beach.

I do like London though

For the people who are giving New Orleans all the love, nevermind the architecture, you do know that you may as well be sitting in a full bathtub of hot water for 8 months of the year, right? ;) IMO, fun city to visit, not to live.

Is that a reference to the flooding or the humidity? I know about humidity being from Virginia, it really is suffocating. I can't even imagine what's it like down there in louisiana, alabama, mississipi during the summer.

I always love Las Vegas as there are so many attractions to enjoy like the Vegas indoors sky diving, exotics racing, walking gourmet food tours, sun buggy desert racing and many more.

Cities always mean more when the memories attached to them are so special. Paris and Rome are my favourites. Probably as much for the person I was with that created the whole memory, but absolutely beautiful cities.

It's not a city, but the village I grew up in was voted the 6th nicest place to live in Europe, according to the 2010 edition of Forbes magazine.

There are some really beautiful, picturesque villages in England, some of our scenery is stunning.

Not a city, but a beautiful place to visit nonetheless - Brixham in Devon. Went there on a holiday once, spur of the moment, we just chose a destination and went, I had always wanted to see Devon, hell of a long drive from the Northwest, but so worth the trip

My top three would be.

Paris, I could see myself living there one day. It's as close to perfect as a city can be.

Barcelona, I was very surprised at how beautiful and relaxed this place was.

London, I've been a few times and I still have a list of places and sights I want to see. I love the city.

My top 5:

New York City  Fell in love with the place as soon as I got there. Just something about it that I can't describe. Love it there and really want to go back soon.

Cairo - So interesting to see how differently people can live. All the history there and of course visiting the Pyramids of Giza was amazing, something I'd wanted to do all my life.

Athens - Didn't get to see much of Athens as I was visiting different places in Greece but what I saw of it was lovely. Great to see so many historical places, again.

Dublin - Nice, friendly city. Great shops, great attractions, just a generally nice place to visit.

Paris - Great city, so much to do.

Mine is London. Mostly because that's where I live, but also because it's just so vibrant and amazing and exciting and lovely and no other city can compare in my opinion.

I love Beijing and Shanghai though too. When I visited them I was just amazed at both, they're so pretty and everyone there is so nice. They're such great places.

Probably Krakow, a really nice city with a fascinating (& obviously very sad) history, would like to go back there again sometime
