Have always thought people (especially women) make too big a deal of colds, just push through it :idc:

Mizzy....once you are out and having a couple of drinks you'll forget all about your cold. Alcohol is a great anaesthetic. So get your glad rags on and have a great night with your friends then tomorrow stay in bed and nurse your cold. Have fun

A few antihistamines for the snot and noserunning so you don't get that backdrip in the throat that, no doubt, leads to that cruddy coughing. If it's not too deep in the chest, it should clear up soon, we all hope. Take care, don't overdo it, and have fun(conservatively.) :)

May as well be telling the poor girl to dance as slowly as possible, smelling of Vick's. Some people like that! It's hot. :-) <looks around a bit>

My nan used to say colds are 3 days coming, 3 days here and 3 days going and it is nearly always right when I get a cold....she swore by hot toddies and milk stout for colds too....and lived to 95 so she was doing something right....
