I'm too uniformed as yet to make an entirely valid opinion but as it is right now, the main thing that bothers me is that these people have actually lied to the general public over it all. I doubt the content is anything to worry about (although I may change my mind, pending on what I make of the links).

what I ****ing hate is people making excuses for this ****. just because I eat certain meats does not automatically mean I'm fine with eating every other living thing, and you shouldn't be either. I don't care if it's a case of mind over matter the idea of eating horsemeat I find personally is sickening. also is the fact that they lied to us. so yes, I will make a big deal out of it, and you will deal with that.

It's not that I don't mind but I doubt that horse meat is anything substantially serious. I'm yet to check the links but I don't see the issue as yet. I'm too uninformed to make a valid decision yet but as it is right now, I don't see the worry.

For me, it's more about the lies of the food companies themselves. But I'm not getting this whole 'meat is meat' argument either. You wouldn't go in to a restaurant and request horse, just because it's meat. Cat is meat, would you be happy to eat a cat?
