If you have a good idea, then it might be good to start on that. If you start reading other comedy in different styles you could bastardise and ruin your own idea.

Where are you from? I find writing in dialect funny, think of a funny thing that has happened in your life and dramatise that a bit?
Post snippits in here in the creative writing bit, there are some English lit students on here that might give you some feedback even :D

u reckon? when i used to go abroad people always thought i was scottish mind i cant understand scottish people @ the best of times lol
