Do you think TiBB will still be around in the near future?

Do you think that TiBB will be around in say, 10-15yrs and do you think you will still use the site?

I'd like to think it will still be here and I can't really see why it shouldn't be, it's just a thought that occurred to me.

Depends how long BB stays on for, probably will stop airing within 5 years or so then TiBB will die down over the next few years after that. Don't really know or care as to how long I'll still be here for, see no reason to stop coming on anytime soon

I wouldn't class 10-15 years as near future tbh. I hope to have a family and stuff by then, so I doubt I'll have time. I think the time I am on here will probably be bursts of posting interspersed with months off.

This place has helped me through some pretty ****ty times, so I will always be grateful (to a few people in particular), but life will always overtake. I think if it does close down in the next couple of years we should organise a farewell party. Somewhere near the middle of the country would be good.

Whatever the future holds no one knows, I had come to really enjoy being on here for a good while.
Whatever happens or whatever I decide,there are a fair few people I would choose to stay in contact with if tibb wasn't here anymore or when I stopped coming on.

To answer the OP I hope so, it depends how long BB lasts and what is going on in peoples RL's really. I enjoy it on here personally and think even if BB ended on C5 in the future this site could still go on because of the off season chat and if there were more people joining/some returning etc...

I think it'll die when BB's axed again. I reckon had it not been picked up by Channel 5, around this time (like right now, 2013 - over two years since BB finished on C4) it would've been really dead on here (and no, I mean worse than it is now) and it would've been nearing the end. I'd give it two or three years post-BB axe and then that'd be it, things would just dry up and people would move on.

You also have to take into consideration the future of forums, the internet and the like in ten to fifteen years time. Who knows what they'll be like, if indeed they exist? They might've been replaced by something different.

As for my future on here, as long as Big Brother's still on I don't see why I wouldn't still pop on and post, my off-season activity would probably be limited as I grew older but I'm sure I'd still come on every so often. It all depends on a number of factors; if I still remember to come on, am that bothered, if I know/like the members still left.

I've been on here a few years now and i'm not one of the most active posters (This is the first time i've stuck around whilst BB isn't on air.)
But I love coming on here every day and seeing what people are talking about and stuff.
I can't see myself sticking around for too much longer because i'm probably too old at 19, but hope it sticks around for at least 5 more years. If not for me, but for some of the other members to perhaps out-grow it.

Just had the courage to read about it now as it was too recent for me to deal with the full story and the identity of the victims.
Seeing the face of that lovely Canadian woman who lost her life right in front of my eyes, remembering her fiance helplessly shouting and crying while the medics tried to assist her. It's just heart breaking. I wish I could have said something or comfort him or help him in some way but it was all just so confusing and terrifying that time... I will never forget these sights and screams. Terrible night.

TiBB has certainly proven a lot of people wrong who thought this site would die out years ago. Even before BB returned it was kept going despite there being no prospect of the show coming back for most of that time

There are a lot of members I miss though. Vast majority of the time they'll have just moved on from the site and other things will have filled their time which is fair enough. Even in real life there's a lot of friends we just drift away from and stop speaking to despite being close for years. I do worry about GG though and that must be really hard for you Ninastar :love:

I think about GypsyGoth every time I check the forum, I hate the way she just disappeared. She was very private so my guess is that something happened that she didn't feel comfortable sharing, maybe a relationship or something family or work related. I've also always had a feeling that she's really from Ireland, the vocabulary and grammar she used were so in tune with hiberno English. I hope she's okay.
