The person who chooses 'avoid' is obviously going to choose the person they know the least or get on with the least, why would the other person take offence at that when they'd surely know said member dislikes them/doesn't know them that well? Hopefully I've explained that alright...not sure if it makes sense.

The only way this could possibly end up in arguments is if only a few players that get on well are playing, posting two names of people they like and one they all dislike in a bid to get a dig in. If that happens then fair enough, otherwise why can't the game just go ahead in a fair manner.

The other variation of 'kill' is the same kinda thing - the person out of the list that pisses you off the most. I didn't even know the 'avoid' was or could be taken to mean they're the least attractive of the three, I've certainly never taken it that way when I've played it and when or if I have been chosen for the 'avoid' option I've just seen it as they don't like/don't know me, certainly not related to physical attraction - because then I'd take offence too. The Do Marry Kill version is just a more explicit version of Snog Marry Avoid - shagging being a one up from snogging; killing being a one up from avoiding; and seeing as snogging/shagging and marriage are all based on attraction, why would avoiding/killing not also be about (lack of) attraction?
