...that you've fairly much enjoyed watching ..and then the ending leaves you flat..?...

anything open ended, hate movies like that, even though they seem to be the most popular
I don't like it when dead characters come back to life at the end, it's unrealistic :bored:

Does LOST count? I'm still bitter about that waste of life.

Pretty much every movie I have ever watched tbh
And I agree with LOST too
Star Wars Episode I.. After the great fight scene with Darth Maul, Obi Won and Qui-Gon you'd think they wrap it up with Obi Wan being made a Jedi Knight.. but they have to have to wreck the moment and make the final scene with the Gungans, Not even Padme could save the final scene, it just reminds you of how terrible the Gungans made the first Episode when you see the ending

I love the final ten minutes of each Paranormal film, but they could do so much more at the very end... yes, it's good to keep us guessing, but they end too abruptly

thought of one, I Am Legend
the alternative ending is so much better, bet they're kicking themselves now, with the sequel in all...

good question Ive often found the first hour of a movie is the best part then the ending tries to tie all the loose ends up too easily.....whereas a movie like taxi driver or papillon or angels with dirty faces or deer hunter , oceans franchise, or even pulp fiction, timeless classics with great endings imho leave you guessing , what happened , why did it happen and what happens next>? love that mystery
majority of endings are poor.... the "newer" star wars trilogy all had disappointing endings but thAt may have been down to the woodeness of haydn christenson, harry potter just bored me to sleep by the end too

The alternative ending was completely stupid. I'm so glad they choose the one they did, it made alot more sense imo

I hate it when they change endings when films have been taken from a book....My Sisters Keeper was the worst for that...the book was far more heartbreaking...

The ending for The Butterfly Effect, the first time I watched it on DVD it had a good, sensible ending, then I watched it again on TV a few months later and it was exactly the same up until the last 5 minutes and I was thinking wtf is going on here?? Total tripe

lol which one did you love? The first one I saw and loved was when he killed himself before he was born and the one I hated was when he said something mean to Kayleigh at that party so she moves away with her mother and they pass eachother on the street years later

What was the alternative ending to I am Legend, Niamh. I only remember one where he eventually dies after finding a cure, and the woman and her child escape and find that Sanctuary place.
