I'd need more information before I could say. What's the danger? How big is the child? Could I just pick 'em up and take them with me? My answer would change depending on the circumstances.

Hmmm just go with this: You have no way out of the decision, but your just given an option randomly one day of you carrying on living or a random child is killed. You have to answer it or you'll both be killed, and the child is completely unaware of the events (if you choose to save it, it won't know you did, if you choose to kill it, it won't know you did either, it'll just die)

But no, I still think the child has more of a life ahead of them. They still can go through school (I wish I had tried harder) and all that jazz.

There's just no way I'd put my life over a childs.

If they grow up to be a lazy unemployed git, I'd be pissed tho.

It's a real tricky one...but I would at this moment in time have to save myself I think as I have a young child of my own and I wouldn't want to leave him.....but it would be the hardest decision ever to make on the spur of the moment

That is a really tough dilemma, but in all honesty I don't think I would have a happy life knowing that I could have sacrificed myself for a child. There are somethings worth dying for and I feel that this is one of them.
