I'm liking her on a Chenbot level already

I don't, too much copying of Julie Chen. The show as a whole is copying the American way of doing it a bit too much, could just end up like a copycat show.

I like her, she's still finding her feet a little bit but she's obviously charismatic and quick-witted enough to be a great host!

She is a brilliant host - and everything I've seen in the build up from other TV shows with rent-a-blonde auto-cuties shows what a great host she is.

I do think she'd probably be better if she didn't have a live audience to worry about (Davina was a much better host before they stuck her in the crowd and her talking to them rather than us!) but so far I'm very impressed.

Don't get the bit about copying Julie, the show is following the same format so obviously stuff has to be repeated

I like how they've included normal tasks and a phone. And Arisa is really good at hosting BB Canada, she is less robotic than Julie and has a really energetic personality.

big brother USA is more popular here in Canada than it is in America ratings wise. I would hope and think they would copy the american format. it was no secret that they were going to do that from the start.

But like most things, Canada being a mix of both the UK and America (2 great countries i must say) the format is very BBUSA, but the 1 bedroom, the look and feel of the house is very bbuk, very good mix. best of both worlds.

I concur.

and Arisa is doing a fine job so far.

(her hair is ridiculous, does anyone know is it a weave like Makosi's fake afro in season 6? or is that actually her hair? i don't know, but her hair is distracting some times)

Julie (chenbot) is iconic supersonic bionic. She cannot be replicated or duplicated.

but first, i think we all want Arisa to have her own identity. I think comparing Arisa to Julie, or Davina, or Gretel would be pointless.

We want Arisa to be her own kind of host. I hope she doesn't try to copy Julie, there is only 1 Chenbot. Arisa should be herself.

It would be cool if Julie made a surprise appearance on BB Canada though.

harlem shake -1
sticking around to do that with fans after the live audience left +10

I think her major issue is that the scripted dialog she has to use along with any adlibbing is just horrible written. Canadians have watched BB for years. We don't need to be spoon feed drama that doesn't exist to get us excited.

I quite like her, good first impressions. Had a few cringey moments but she's enthusiastic on the whole which is a good quality.

Has to be careful though with those group chats not to disadvantage any HM in her questioning - I thought by constantly asking if their showmance put a target on their back she was planting the seed with the rest of the houseguests.

She is at least more professional than the dreaded Brian Dowling or the new Australian host.

made a bit of a ****up saying Danielle had 5 votes while she was still speaking to Liza in the DR.

I was wondering about this. It seemed as if she did this to a few Houseguests, but I couldn't tell if they could actually hear her, or is it just our perception that they may have heard her.

I never heard Liza mention it on live feeds. Liza is such a talker that if she had heard anything, the whole house would have known about it

Anyone else notice that she called them 'housemates' as well? A fan of BBUK I see ;)

I  her though

i love how the actual housemates / house guests call big brother by name. when you watch the feeds and big brother says something they don't like they are all like "ohhh big brother, please no big brother" lol i love it

bbuk :)

I always prefer HMs than HGs because it implies that they are housemates together and not just guests of Big Brother, and the interaction of the contestants is surely the main part of the show.
