oh that's tough. Still its a great feeling to get though the six weeks without giving in. If I do it I tend to give up wine, that is hard for me, not so much during the week, but a Friday night glass of wine is a must.

It does help people, but not for the reasons they think. When you stick a load of pins in your body, your body automatically realises chemicals to deal with the pain. That's how it works. It doesn't work how it's advertised, buy messing with chi and all that rubbish.

Niamh could get the same effects from jabbing herself with pins

Exactly niamh, I stopped smoking through self hypnosis, I had tried everything and that worked like a charm. Nobody could tell me there isn't something in it.
