Big Brother star Jade Goody is set to head back into the house for a Big Brother: All Stars series, according to reports.

The most loved and hated housemates from previous series would be invited back for another fling, the Daily Star has reported.

It said the idea had come from CBS in the United States. The television station had just started screening a summer show featuring housemates from earlier series.

Quoting a source at Endemol, the company behind Big Brother in Britain, the newspaper reported that the show had been a big success "as everyone knows the characters straight away".

"One of the criticisms about this year's Big Bro in the UK is that they have tried to introduce too many new characters," the source said.

It sounds great, I hope it happens. It would be good to see which from previous series will actually bond with etc..

It would be a good change in my opinion!

It's in the Daily Star it must be a load of crap like every other Big Brother story they have published.

I can't see this happening. The main problem is that they're all has beens with nothing to offer. If loads of them had went on to be big stars or even minor ones then it could have worked.

I can't see it happening either, mainly because I can't believe they'd do that to themselves again...

I think that it would only work for the USA because of the way that the game is.

Since when has anyone said that? The problem has been the crap twists and the big characters leaving early on.

And why would any of the "most hated" characters want to go in? They've already suffered a public execution, why would they want to add fuel to the fire?

I agree, I don't think it would work very well. I want to see new housemates not old ones, it would be boring.

For me, the BBUS All Stars has been a total bust. It's mostly a rehash of the last season, something I had little interest in to begin with, and I'm still not caring about now. The HOH competitions are half lottery and done in a dull format, the noms/veto comp/veto ceremony/food competition are done so far before it's shown on tv that there's hardly ever a surprise.

The only reason why I've stayed watching is the veto competitions - it's where they're showing their creativity. Everything else is just, yeah, already seen this series.

What would be better would be picking some underdog favs from previous seasons and inserting them into the house, ala Survivor. There are new faces there, new personalities to learn, and you really don't get to see the same game done over and over again.
