No really needed. Best thing about getting in bed is being cold and warming up in the duvet

I can't be too warm or it's impossible to sleep. I have my bedroom window open pretty much all year round.

Her husband standing over her with a bucket of water, had nothing to do with it!

Don't have one but whenever I go to my Granny's she always has an electric blanket on the bed, highlight of my visits there tbh

On a related note I remember an episode of Fireman Sam where Norman leaves his blanket on and it starts a fire, so yes be careful with them

..I've never liked the idea of being plugged in when you're asleep..it seems a bit dangerous..it's probably not but it just seems an odd thing to me..

I don't have one but when we used to stay at my Nans as kids that is what I remember. She had no central heating so she had to put one on as it was cold in her back bedroom the be felt wet. She turned it off when we went to bed though as the old types were dangerous to sleep on when turned on (we only found this out after we had slept with it on loads f times) She also used to have an old style lava lamp that was found to have something in that caused cancer!!! Thinking about it now I don't think she liked us much LOL.

ew dont like the idea of electric blankets, for me they sound like a breeding ground for germs, nice cool cotton sheets and warm up in bed bliss.

Of course I switch it off before going to bed.

Listening to "Sailing By" and inside this warm bed is Paradise.

I don't have an electric blanket, I do have an electric quilt.

I do like to be toasty cosy in bed in the Winter, although I love the cold Winter weather, I do like snuggling up under the quilt all cosy :)

Yes that's what it is, it's thin so you don't feel weighted down by it, and it warms the bed up lovely. I leave it on once in bed, then switch it to go off after a certain time so's I don't fall asleep with it on. I can't sleep if I am too cold in bed, so I love my electric Quilt/Duvet.
