There is a lot of talk of a really new outlook needed as to Tibb and other issues in this election.
While there are good bits and pieces from elsewhere, it is here in the I S P Party that the future can be given a whole new look, a break with usual tradition and a move to really bring about change with a really new dynamic PM in Jack.

There is no reason to always settle for second best, Jack is forward looking and has turned opinion round many times.
In this election, we who are now solidly behind him will do all we can to illustrate that really fresh, new future that is so badly needed and planned by Jack.

Really take a look at us, led by Jack you will see how totally new the future can be on here, with Jack as PM, just imagine the whole new look he will take as to all things tibb and also other important issues.

We hope you make the decision that while respecting others have ideas too, that here in I S P there is now a great opportunity to unite behind someone who has the fresh and new ideas for, and moreso, the determination to deliver a better future overall.

.I S P is The Future, help us bring that about and really bring change in this election that is relevant change and will not be just lip service

Good Morning.

In 2 days voting will begin to herald in a new PM and hopefully something getting done too after this election.

Nothing really changed after last years election.from what I have read so far on the others it all sounds much of the same as was offered last year.
A lot of words but everything and everyone just going nowhere after the result.

This year there is a real choice, here is the best choice.
Check us out over today, really take on board the leader we have realise he has the vision for the future.
Also from all you know of Jack you will also then easily know he will be determined to deliver that future.

Vote I_S_P, help make JACK, tibbs new PM. I_S_P WELCOME-TO_THE_FUTURE.

I think we should have have a points based voting system.

I feel like the Arista fans will have an advantage if the votes is just for 1 winnner. I think we should have a secondary vote.

Perhaps it would be a more fair vote if we could give 3 points to a candidate, 2 points to another, and then 1 vote for another.

That way no 1 candidate can run away with the vote. We could express our opinions over a more broad array.

I think that would be a much more fair voting system. a 3/2/1 voting system would be more fair i think. Don't you think?

It is a suggestion you could put forward Lostalex, a PR vote.
It will be too late anyway for this election as Ben will have his plans and things all set up,ready to go, who knows possibly for future ones though.
I would certainly not be opposed to the idea myself.

Normally I would agree, but a standout statement needs to do just that, standout.
I could I guess have gone for multi colour to enhance it but I thought that would look tacky and really rather twee too.

A_MESSAGE_FOR_THE_FUTURE

Hi, I'm Jack_

In my personal statement, I began to introduce myself and my party by making the point that the links we have as human beings have been eroded over many decades, and that it was time to rebuild these bridges and rebuild our society to one which is miles ahead in thinking compared to what we currently have. I made that point using the analogy of the underscore character; online, the underscore is used to link words together, and now it is time to bring that link forward - to humankind.

Welcome to I_S_P, the party that is about to reinvent politics from the ground up. We are about to shape the future, and all we need is your help. We stand here on the road to recovery - the recovery of a society that is slowly but surely slipping from the grasps of the majority, and now is the time to snatch it back and reclaim what is rightfully ours. Let me start this journey by explaining a little bit about what I_S_P is all about…

If you hadn't already noticed it yet, the name of our party is almost exactly the same as the tool that in internet land provides you with the internet - your ISP (internet service provider). A political party is also a tool, one which is used to provide policies to embed into a society, and so with that in mind, if your ISP provides you with the internet, this I_S_P hopes to provide you with the future. You may or may not also have noticed that I_S_P is actually an acronym. It stands for three simple steps that this party intends to follow in order to change this forum and this country for the better, and I shall explain these to you now.

I

http://i.imgur.com/xFOhKbo.jpg

We start with the 'I', which is for 'Impress'. Over the next 24 hours, we aim to impress you with our impending manifesto, helping you understand the issues and problems that TiBB and our society faces, and that we have the right policies to bring about the change that is so desperately needed to rebuild those vital links.

S

http://i.imgur.com/Nb8o66s.jpg

If you happen to be impressed by our policies and mantra, and are kind enough to tick the box marked I_S_P on the ballot paper, then we hope to achieve 'Success'. Winning this election will enable us to bring about the change needed to provide a future that enriches our society to its utmost potential. There is far too much exploitation, inequality and intolerance present in 21st century Britain, and the damaging effects of this are far reaching. It is time we put an end to the rat race, and begin rebuilding, reconstructing and redefining every little detail already ingrained in us and our social structures from the ground up. This future will begin at the bottom - the grassroots level, not at the top - and we need your vote to enable this process to begin. Success is the only way we can possibly move onto the third and final, yet most imperative stage of our political movement…

P

http://i.imgur.com/34CuX1t.jpg

…and that stage comes in the 'P' in I_S_P , which stands for 'Progress' - the entire basis upon which this party is built. Today, we look to the future - and we start work on shaping that future in a more progressive, integrated and cohesive manner. The only way of obtaining a coherent, compassionate and liberal society, one which brings people, not commodities or capital, to the fore, is for us as human beings to rebuild the links we have and learn to understand, accept and be tolerant of each other. Until then, the endless cycle of rampant selfish individualism will continue, materialism will flourish further and resentment towards particular social groups, whether it has been drummed up by the ever demonising media or not, will advance to disconcerting levels. We simply cannot stand by and let this continue. From here, we look forwards, not backwards, to a future where all people, of any ethnicity, sexuality, gender, age, culture or social group understand one another and get along with each other for a common purpose - striving for a society based on collectivism, equality and tolerance. A society where we rethink what we thought we already knew, and ponder what we still don't. Asking questions about every aspect of our lives and our world and remaining open minded and liberal about and towards them. It is this understanding and movement which will change the world as we know it in a future which we can, should and will, with your help, achieve.

So the choice is yours. Let society spiral into the deep and dark depths of an unequal, exploitative and apathetic state, or help us shape our future in a progressive, collective and integrative manner.

Provide us with your vote, and we will provide you with the future that you deserve.

Thank_You

Awesome, Sincere and totally relevant.

No lip service from I_S_P and no pretence. Also no Jesus H, although you bring up the very tiniest thing to comment on, you clearly do seem to acknowledge the speech as impressive.
That is appreciated.

The theme however runs clearly as Jack has detailed to perfection in this speech.
Setting out to impress is the first aim,if that is achieved then that leads to success in this election by people voting for I_S_P,finally then with that success, Jack and his party go on to make real progress, for everyone in all things hopefully.

As I said at the start awesome.

This is by far the best speech of the election so far from Jack.
The detail and way it is put over clearly shows purpose, determination and most of all sincerity for all he believes in.

Voting for Jack and supporting I_S_P would be the best and right thing to do in this election, for 3 reasons.

1.As will be made clear over the course of this election his policies will be of benefit to everyone, not just a few, they will be relevant and more to the point the right ones too.

2. There is a lot of bluster in the other parties, with certainly a lot seemingly going on but going where exactly is another question and more to the point where do they take tibb amd the rest of us.
There is little uniformity and direction evident and despite a lot of good words there is next to nothing to learn of any action of relevance from them that really would matter.

3. Jack himself is far and away the best candidate because he is forward looking,he doesn't look backwards, his eyes and mind are totally focussed as to the future.
He can see new things for tibb and nationally too.
It is all clearly laid out in his speech above, not a gimmick speech but one he means every word of.

There is also a strong view that he also made the best speech to be nominated for this election.
It should then come as no surprise that because he means what he says his speeches can relate to everyone and that he will be a man of action and not just use words to give lip service to problems, issues and things that need sorting out.

There are plenty of places to find the people giving lip service to issues,it may be fun to read but to vote for lip service gets no one anywhere at all and changes nothing either.

In Jack, the tibb forum has someone who isn't afraid to say what he thinks and what he means.
Much more to the point is what he would do and change, for the future and for the better.
Jack then would by far be the best new PM for tibb after this election. Don't fall for the gimmicks of the others, here is something and someone who is real and who will deliver what he states he will.

We hope you will come on board and join us and please vote for the I_S_P Party in this election and give tibb a PM all can be really proud of in Jack.

Not sure how Joey sees this as better than Marcus' story, his speech and his manifesto, but Joey supports the death penalty if I remember rightly?

Seems like Joey boy is used to following bad ideas.

Good speech Jack - you've put together a really good campaign.

Now now, Jesus H, not fair to drag issues of past elections into Jack's campaign.

Whatever my views are and in any case they change often as to the death penalty anyway, that was part of our,(mockinators and myself). campaign last year and this year I am not standing.

I am supporting Jack in his efforts and it is Jack's views on issues that are the only relevant policies in this election not mine, if elected he will be the one who is tibb PM and a very worthy PM at that too.

joeysteele
13-03-2013, 10:39 PM
The voting period is almost upon us and as I said earlier I have done the courteous thing myself in seeing and reading all the other parties threads in this election.

They are very colourful,(I needed sunglasses on for some),a lot of words and quotations that others,(not what the candidates or supporters have said),however there is in fact very little as to any real insight or inspirational policies to be able to see clearly how things will improve as to tibb or anywhere else if any of them are elected.

Here, we have one inspirational candidate in Jack, he has demonstrated from his words his ideas and thinking as to the future.
However, unlike the others too, he will be someone who would change things, his way in his time.
Whatever else happens in this election,he has been the only one to provide the vision and policies to move forward in all ways.
By his words which are totally supported by those of us in his campaign,he has shown sincerity and determination.

If people like pictures and other's quotes then so be it.
Here in I_S_P, the whole theme, the words and policies are Jack's and come from his vision for a far better way of going about things in the future.
That is where he stands out from all the other candidates in other parties, he has laid it on the line straight.

He is worthy of your votes,he will honour the votes he gets and he will do all he says he is setting out to do.
That certainly didn't happen last year and if Jack is not the new tibb PM this year, it won't happen again.
All that will be left are the bare walls and total silence after all the pictures and others quotes have been taken down and dispensed with.

Don't settle for less vote for the best, ensure tibb gets the best PM this year and please vote for Jack.

Jesus.

I was only teasing Joey. I like you, and I've supported Jack_ throughout, encouraging others to vote for him. You've all done really well.

Later today the more detailed manifesto will be presented by Jack.

It will be well worth the wait and its content will have relevant policies for all as to tibb and anywhere else.
Watch this thread and try to make sure you don't miss out on the chance to vote for someone with policies that matter and which are not just wrapped up in words of near false endearment.

We all believe in getting along, while accepting others have differing personalities and opinions. we all want to see fairness on tibb and indeed everywhere else, we all should be respectful of other people and their views and opinions.

In fact the whole theme of much of the other parties is that everyone should not be pulled down but built up.
Well here at I_S_P that is something we believe should be the norm anyway. However it isn't and one thing is certain it won't come from the other parties either because they present any policies they have,(when you can find any that is), that have little bite to them or even significance that could really bring about change, real change that is.

This is where Jack on merit fully stands out from the others, his policies will be of relevance and affect everyone, he will stand by them solidly and make the real changes necessary to move forward into the future.

The words of respecting each other,of the general but vague policies the others have presented will do nothing at all as to change and after this election if one of the other candidates becomes TIBB PM then absolutely nothing at all will change as to tibb or nationally even.
Not one thing will change except they take over from Nathan, nothing else.

Jack speaks his mind, Jack knows his mind and what he wishes to achieve, he has set out to impress in this election and it is hoped voters see that and rally round him to ensure he gets success for that great effort, which if he does get that success, he can then take tibb on to real progress.
Something you will not find you end up with after you have voted from any of the other candidates.

Please vote Jack for TIBB's new PM, please support I_S_P. For real and significant change.

Please make sure to keep looking into this thread for the I_S_P manifesto which Jack has worked so hard on making sure he addresses the right concerns and has the right ides for the future.

As the saying goes, act in haste, repent at leisure, often the best comes last, those who have acted in haste then miss out on that.
Jack's challenging but relevant and strong manifesto will be well worth the wait.

Getting close, not long to wait now and make sure you take the time to read Jack's manifesto if you can.

The future can be a better one, here on tibb and everywhere else, with the policies that will come from I_S_P
They won't come from anywhere else in this election.

I hope everyone is getting eager to learn even more as to Jack's vision for the future.

Take care with your votes, please vote on merit and vote for real change.
Ask yourselves, who has taken the greater care both with speeches and his presentation of his vision in this election.
The only answer to that is Jack, that being so his policies will also be worth votes on merit too.

The best is yet to come is the title of a song,it still is to come and will be on this thread soon.
Don't miss it, most of all though, don't regret not being able to support it because you may have committed your vote elsewhere.

Jack is presenting quality in his election process on here, a process that to many has achieved his hope to impress.
From that your votes will lead to Jack's success in this election and then the making of real progress can begin.
Don't lose out, don't hand the election to a gimmick party. Go for real change, vote for Jack.

No good sitting next week thinking after all the gimmicks are gone for good that really Jack had the best vision for the future, realising then that the others will not deliver a single thing probably.
There is no need to be left thinking that next week, get behind Jack now, from now ,in this election and please vote for him when voting opens.

Jesus.

Welcome to the I_S_P manifesto. It’s time for the politics of the future to begin. These fifteen policies outline the ways in which my party aims to rebuild our society from the bottom up in a fairer, more united manner. Politics for the people, by the people. Equality, tolerance and integration. These policies are designed to help us to progress into the future that we all deserve. Provide us with your vote, and we will provide you with that future.

http://i.imgur.com/iRUdqWv.jpg

1) Liberation

This is by far the most forward thinking yet strenuous policy that you shall see outlined in this manifesto, and one that despite being the overriding attitude which guides all the other policies, it is most likely the last one to be truly implemented; that’s if you can consider it a policy of course. It doesn’t require much elaboration, just a straightforward point - all people should be free to do as they wish, so long as what they choose to do does not impose on anybody else’s freedom, health or wellbeing, or indirectly places themselves in a position of danger. That’s anything from a gay couple being allowed to adopt, to the abolition of the television watershed, or even if you just want to have a good old naked stroll down the street. Live and let live.

2) Tax cuts for the poor, tax hikes for the rich

It’s quite simple - capitalism isn’t working; well, at least in its current form. We live in a society of great exploitation by those at the top towards those at the bottom, and as a party seeking to rectify inequalities, this is a big problem that needs to be addressed and completely rebuilt, except this time from the bottom up. It’s time we closed a significant and abhorrent portion of the gap between the rich and the poor for good. It is the only way we can truly progress into an equal and selfless society. A society obsessed with capital is a society destined to disintegrate. Man is more important than material, and we need to really put the wheels in motion if we want this shift in attitudes to occur. Redistributing capital from top to bottom creates a middle ground in which wealth is no longer much of a prominent issue. This time the majority, not the minority, needs to hold the power, and then the road to a recovery of a collective and compassionate society can really begin.

3) A collective and compassionate education system, not individualistic and selfish

British education is long overdue a massive overhaul and it’s down to the party of the future to deliver this. That’s not with legislation taking us back to the 1950’s, but a complete reconstruction of our education system from scratch. One that teaches the value of people, not possessions. A positive, enjoyable and free environment in which each and every new generation shall learn about every aspect of our lives and our world, in an attempt to ensure that the spirit of collectivism, equality and tolerance is ingrained in them as they progress into adulthood. An education system that at its heart provides an equality of opportunity - for everyone regardless of social class, gender, ethnicity or the like. This shall be an education system fit for the future, not for the past.

To progress into a society that values communities and collective identities as well as individuals and their personal needs, instead of exclusively the latter, not only do policies restructuring the economy need be implemented, but the central role of the education system needs to be addressed and overhauled too. It needs, first and foremost, to primarily teach care and cooperation, not individualism and self-enrichment. It is this meritocratic belief which has left us in the state we are in, generations after generations of indoctrinating people to be selfish and obsessed with furthering themselves for their own financial gain as opposed to furthering society as a whole for the benefit of us all. It isn’t working, it is a myth and it is so damaging to humankind. It is our job to ensure that the youth of tomorrow value a human being over a commodity. In a world of great class divisions, a meritocratic system is not just.

As well as this, the only way we can begin to eradicate intolerance and inequality in our society is by educating the next generation in a manner which is open minded and liberal towards a wide range of issues. This process will commence at the very start of a child’s education, with resources such fictional books containing characters and cultures from a wide spectrum, be it a gay couple, a Muslim family, or a transexual teenager, being used as tools to ensure that all children from all backgrounds are taught to be tolerant, understanding and most importantly accepting of one another. By starting this early in a child’s education, we are giving the next generation the best possible opportunity to stand in the face of inequality and use the knowledge and compassion that they have been provided with to help us to shape the best possible future available; one that is fair but free.

4) Private schools abolished

We continue our progressive overhaul of the British education system with this vital policy. Education is not and should not be a commodity to be bought and sold. The financial stability of any student’s parents should not affect their life chances or predetermine their chances of success and progression in the real world. This is an education system open to all; and the only way this equality can really begin is with this imperative piece of legislation that provides equality of opportunity to every learner irrespective of their social class.

5) Politics & Sociology taught as core subjects from age 13

Our work on the education system concludes with this policy. It is essential that young people become more involved in politics and take an interest in how society is shaped and learn about the different perspectives and theories of the world. Far too many adolescents leave education politically unaware with a resounding sense of apathy towards politics. We cannot stand by and let this continue, as it is, after all, this next generation that will shape the future that succeeds ours, and so it is essential that they are given a voice and are encouraged to actively partake in discussion about every aspect of ours and their future.

6) Voting age lowered to 16

In line with our plan to reinvigorate young people’s interest in politics by making such subjects in school compulsory from age 13, it is only right that we reflect this objective by lowering the voting age to 16, so that those who have spent three years studying Politics as a core subject in education are given the freedom to have their voice heard and their beliefs spoken for.

7) Build more social housing

This is a near perfect way of cutting unemployment whilst bringing people together to work for a positive common cause at the same time. Thousands of jobs could be created as people work together to build energy efficient homes for those who are less well off.

8) Rehabilitation over retribution

Our politics are, amongst other things, focused around an understanding of people. That is what we aim to achieve with our policies, and it is the thinking that we follow ourselves. It is of the utmost importance that this is the thinking we use to deal with crime and the consequential forms of justice.

To first begin work on cutting crime levels, we need to address the ‘why’ and understand the reasons behind why every crime is committed. By doing this, we can work on ensuring that it cannot happen again by addressing the problem at its root, rather than at its end. Tabloids and political folk can bang on all they like about the need for an aggressive and zero tolerance approach to crime, but it is reactionary and doesn’t solve the real driving forces and causes of criminal activity.

The key to understanding and resolving the issue of crime lies with rehabilitation. First, you must understand why someone has committed a crime, and then work on helping them to right their wrongs and get back onto the right path, understanding why they should turn their life around and help instead of hurting others, or even themselves. Everyone deserves a chance to change, and it is vital that we provide this opportunity. Harsh prisons and tougher sentences are not a sufficient deterrent, in fact, you could call prison the University of Crime. Hard criminals become harder and resentful and the endless, lifelong labelling of criminals leads them into a dead end, and this results in an ongoing cycle of reoffending. Criminals need to be softened up, they need to understand the value of life and other people, they need to be provided with care and compassion and an education just as much as the rest of us. That is the only way we can give them the best chance at ending their life of crime. The current system is not progress, this is.

9) An overhaul of parliament

British politics is long overdue a complete reworking, and it’s up to I_S_P to provide this and provide the future with the most progressive, fair and up to date democracy it can. There is to be absolutely no direct links between politicians and directors, owners or leaders of any large institution or company that could influence their policies in favour of the bourgeoisie. The House of Commons should be made up of a real reflection of people from all backgrounds, social classes, sexualities, ethnicities, gender and age. That is the only way a true democracy can work - one where all people from all backgrounds can have their say via their respective representative. This is the only way we can obtain the fairest reflection of the population’s views. We cannot continue to be ruled by the 1% and a government made up of some of the most affluent people in Britain, it is not representative of the majority.

10) The Daily Mail, Daily Express and The Sun are closed down for crimes against journalism

We finish our look to the future with a policy we can all rejoice at, as their offices are blown to bits by dynamite in a live televised celebration on BBC One.

http://i.imgur.com/PNa2HYH.jpg

1) An ‘anything goes’ thread

This shall be a thread where all arguments on the forum will be directed to in order to solve the issue of petty rivalries between certain members derailing thread after thread across the board. By having a specific thread where members who are involved in an argument can be directed to, not only is everyone able to watch (let’s be honest arguments keep the forum alive and are a good laugh to watch at times) but it means that half of the sh*t is kept out of other threads. Bingo.

On a similar note an ability to ban certain members from certain threads for whatever length of time should also be implemented, as this could potentially stop trouble in said thread without having to ban the member from the rest of the forum. Clever, eh?

2) Forum specific moderators

Instead of a small minority of mods overseeing the entire forum, we have specific mods for specific forums (such as Music, BB, TV Chat etc). The more mods there are, and the more every day members feel as though they are involved in the running of the forum, the less trouble there will be, as the members will be less in the minority and as such, there’ll be less resentment towards any moderators. Plus it'd be fun so yeah.

Alternatively we could just scrap mods because after all, it's only the internet.

3) +1 ing posts

Rewarding posts of a high calibre would be an opportunity to greatly benefit the forum, as it gives somewhat of an incentive for members to make more reasoned, intelligent and informative posts...not just posts full of :xyxwave:

4) Removal of the swear filter

This is really still not necessary and it’s a tiny minority who are in support of it, this is not progressive. If there is a way of making it optional, then that is fair and should also be implemented, but regardless, it's time to do away with it. Your brain still reads the word '******' as ‘****’ (this is for demonstrative purposes only so no infractions plz mods) and thus a few asterisks aren't going to change the fact that a member just swore. And plus, they're only words. If a member of this forum has signed up because they watch Big Brother, they're going to have witnessed a lot more mature content than Stu calling someone a '****ing dolt'.

5) The Banned Members Forum

When a member is banned (be it for a day, or forever) they are able to post in the 'Banned Members Forum' with all the other banned members, where they can bitch, moan and plot till their heart's content. Imagine the greats like dennisabre and KathyIsASexyBitch meeting the likes of CharlieO and Kate. A match made in heaven, I'm sure you'll agree.

I also think this forum should be viewable to all other members, just for the fun of it...like our own forum version of Big Brother where we can pry into the activities of the banned members and talk about them while they can't see what we're saying.

Superb manifesto as I knew it was going to be.

The word given out was read every manifesto and then decide how to vote rather than just vote for friends.
In other words vote on merit not friendship. Well, this manifesto from Jack is total quality, it addresses wrongs both on tibb and Nationally too.
Clearly outlining how to achieve that progress too in all areas.

May I urge undecided and uncommitted voters to really vote for quality and vote on merit.
Whatever happens in this election, the quality of work and planning of the manifesto above are what deserves votes on merit in this election.

Today is the last day of voting in this election.

I hope all visitors to this thread,in particular all undecided voters, read Jack's manifesto. A long thought out and planned range of policies which cover issues that badly need sorting out and real changes made as to them.

The pretty pictures and gimmicks from other parties are all very nice to see but once you get into some of their manifesto detail, there is just an empty shell there.
Nothing of any real substance.

Jack has put forward, plans for real change and explained not only how he would progress to those changes but he has also explained why they need to be done too.
No other party has presented such a manifesto, please take the manifesto on board along with the speeches Jack has made too and you find dedication and real planning.

You've done very well for yourself. Don't justify yourself to Him. You don't have to explain anything to him. You've impressed a lot of people dude.

Thanks Alex, hasn't always felt like it but I appreciate it :p

..good luck Jack...you've done yourself proud with your campaign and it's just a shame we can't have a 'hung parliament' because some of the candidates together would make for a great team..whatever happens there is more than one 'winner' here....

Thank you Ammi :D

Good Luck Jack and well done

Good luck Jack!!

Thanks
