yeah just posting a MKS song before greg can
Look we don't really know what this is.
We know it is based on a sort of 'interpolation' of Kendrick Lamar's 'Swimming Pools (Drank)'.
We know Mutya Keisha Siobhan are on it, singing a bit of a song that isn't one of the seven or eight new ones we've heard so far.
We know Dev Hynes, with whom MKS were recently working, just tweeted a link to it, having put it on his SoundCloud page earlier this afternoon.
Beyond that we don't know if it's a single, or if the MKS original bit will come out as a song in its own right, or if Dev actually produced this, or what. "Just finished recording new music with Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan," is what Dev does say on his SoundCloud page. "And the girls felt like having a bit of fun at the end of the last session - enjoy!!
But we do know that their voices sound jolly pleasant, so that's nice. There's still a strong whiff of Get On With It hanging over the whole thing, of course, but it's good to know that they're at least capable of finishing a song.

People are so quick to write them off because of the debacle that is now the name of Sugababes; but they got a £1 million recording contract from a major label - you don't get that kind of backing if they don't have faith in you. I think Mutya/Keisha is enough to draw back most Sugababes fans, they are going to smash. The preview of Boys sounds radio friendly enough for a smash hit at least, and the album has so many high profile names working on it. All the major music outlets have been praising it online, and Kendrick Lamar is on the same label as them in the UK so this was probably a very well planned PR stunt.

i just hope keisha doesn't act like a bitch again :idc: [assuming she was the cause of the rifts since that's what heidi implied]
I think the generally accepted view is that Keisha is a workaholic and after Mutya bailed on them mid campaign, they stopped pretending that they all had an equal amount of input into lyrics and the creative process. If you look at the writing credits for Change and Catfights & Spotlights (especially the latter), if there's any input from the band then it's almost always solely Keisha.
Amelle and Heidi clearly got sick of her being a control freak, and Amelle couldn't handle being famous (see: night club fights, convictions, drink driving, not showing up for work) and it was becoming clear that she was going to leave the band either way; Keisha tried to get Mutya back in the band (with both complimenting each other in the media and Mutya even saying she'd love to be back on stage with them again in the days leading up to Keisha getting the boot) but Heidi hated Mutya for leaving them and never speaking to her again - reports of Jade Ewen joining the band were rife in the days leading up to it; but they were trying to break America and Amelle was being pushed to the front as the leader of the band; Keisha got threatened and it basically turned into it's her or me (on Amelle's part; Keisha didn't seem to have a clue her job was in jeopardy); and Heidi chose Amelle and that swung it.
Either way, the record label had a music video to shoot, a single to release and an album to promote, and Jade Ewen was getting a job either way. Heidi just chose the person she felt closer to at the time. They then did a very passive-aggressive hatchet job on Keisha, saying they "couldn't talk about it" and "bullying is a strong word" etc etc, but I genuinely don't believe Keisha is a bully. Perhaps when it was the original Sugababes, but they were teenage girls with hormones flying everywhere. I absolutely do not believe for a second that Heidi thought Keisha was a bully for 8 years and never once thought to speak up about it or leave the band. If she really thought Keisha was a horrible person, she would have left when Mutya did and the band would have ended.

I hope they don't go on The Big Reunion
I hope they don't go on The Big Reunion
Why on earth would they go on the Big Reunion? They have a £1 million recording contract and are about to release their new album

to promote themselves? idk :/
The Big Reunion is finished now, and they've got a huge label backing behind them and Radio 1 have been playing the two non-album tracks they've released so far, they'll be fine as far as promotion goes.
