Game of the Year material right here. I really can't wait for it, it really looks like they've learned from the mistakes of Bioshock 2 and Columbia seems like a really interesting setting.

You can switch the difficulty whenever you want.

I never really used Undertow that much, I pretty much stuck to the Crows and the Bronco.

you have to go to the shanty towns or whatever ****ty place it is to get the chinese guys guns

and I turned it off to eat dinner then I went on it before and it had taken it back to before you get the ****ing shock vigor, wtf is going on with the supposed autosave :mad:


oh apparently you can get load from chapter rather than continue, better ****ing work

Has anyone else noticed how crappy the textures are in the game? I mean, the city is beautiful, but up close the definition for the walls, buildings and people all seem to be a bit, well.. pixelated?

Don't get me wrong, the game is brilliant but it's just a glaring problem for me, and an especially annoying one at that when I know that it could look so much better (Rapture looked heaps better in BioShock 2 than Columbia does in Infinite). It's probably an early teething problem of the game, but it's definitely an annoying one.

I play in HD, yeah. My TV isn't the problem I don't think; I only got it in December..

I hope it's just one of those early bugs that'll be ironed out soon. It's just that it was getting on my nerves os much. IGN had a similar problem anyway: they said in their review that the game looks a bit crappy on consoles than it does on PC because of hardware constraints. :(

It took me a few days of thought for me to fully understand it myself, it's an amazing ending though.

I love BioShock on the PC usually because the mouse gives so much more freedom, imho for a FPS. Have the first two and love them. The wall textures will be best on the PC, rather than the consoles, I think. Still, it sounds like an amazing experience!

Comstock is Booker in a parallel dimension where he was baptised. The Booker you play as refused the baptism and got into debt and sold his daughter to Comstock. Comstock learned of the different dimensions/Elizabeth but he couldn't sire her in his reality since he became infertile so he took Anna/Elizabeth from Booker's dimension but that screwed everything up and created a neverending circle.

By drowning Booker at the baptism at the end they killed Comstock's reality but preserved Booker's which is why he ends up alive and well after the credits.

I really like how the ending turned out, with only one Booker remaining, the one who never sold his daughter. All the alternate dimension stuff was pretty cool too.

I dont really like how B:I is being called Game of the Year, I mean, don't get me wrong, the story was good, the acting was fantastic, and the game was aesthetically pleasing, but the actual gameplay was boring as heck.
