Black Eyed Peas to replace Fergie?

Fergie might be preggerz with a tiny human, but the Black Eyed Peas are currently expecting a new addition to their family too!

A source VERY close to the situation has told PerezHilton.com EXCLUSIVELY that the funk-tastic band has secretly been auditioning aspiring female leads for the group.

Since The Duchess has made it common knowledge that she plans to take the next few years to herself — for parenting and another solo album — the band agreed it was time to move on.

BUT!

It should definitely be noted that this is a temporary arrangement, as Fergie will be welcomed back with open arms whenever she chooses to return.

For the time being, however, the boys just simply cannot wait to make new music. They've gotta let their muses guide them, and they need/want a lucky new lady to fuse talents with.

No time-frame on when we can expect them to debut their new gal, but whoever she is — she's got BIG shoes to fill… good luck!!

BEP were brilliant, prior to the Beginning/E.N.D dance music mess.
(I liked some of the tracks but they were so inferior in comparison.)

I think that would go down like a lead balloon. I don't really see the Peas getting back together any time soon, will.i.am's broken out from the group in such a major way that if they reunite, it will only be on his terms.
