Never a lamppost. They're usually set off far enough from the sidewalk, or where ever. I did, however, try to knock over a stop sign with my face when a friend called over from a half block away, and I was standing on a corner. I stopped, so the sign worked. :(

Is that what those damned things are called? Bollards? You learn something new every-, but no, never ran into one of those, yet. Seen a tall guy taking one to the groin once, he cursed it and staggered along, eventually sprawling into a crowd of people with cameras. I've never walked into a lamppost but I did try to leapfrog over a bollard once whilst wearing a skirt....the skirt got caught and I smashed my face into the bollard....that was a clever thing to do!!!

i fell into one once when i was a kid running back from the shop, u know when we used to say things like, last one back is a pig or wotever? well i dindnt want to be the pig and ran that fast i tripped over and smashed my head on a lampost i had a huge bump on my forehead and it knocked me sick.
