Speaking only for myself,I don't find friend requests or social groups offers a problem at all really.
I actually find it nice to think someone has thought of me as to a group or wanting to be a recorded friend on tibb.

I cannot say that I have sent many requests myself and in fact only have 17 recorded friends on here anyway.
I can always decline or opt not to join any social grouping too so for me it isn't a problem at all.
However Patrick, your frustration at such things is noted by me and were I ever to think of sending you any request,which I haven't ever anyway since joining tibb, I will ensure I don't ever send one to you following your strong request as to that to members on this thread.
