Do you have a job or are you out of work at the minute?
If you're in school what do you want to do?

how the hell do you balance the two :|
I don't get much sleep and take most of my classes on the two days (Mon& Tues) I have off from work.
I work 11pm to 7:30 am so I either come home and sleep to four in the afternoon and then wake up and do homework(or procrastinate by doing things like posting on here) and then go into work. Or I just stay up to 5 in the afternoon after work dong homework and then sleep.
I have almost no social life outside of the summer.

I'm guessing Roy doesn't want to leave uni with a shed load of debt, can't be easy but well done.

oh wow :/
well at least you get paid :amazed: I want money :( some people don't appreciate having a job whilst being young, my brother had a job at Hugo Boss (lord knows how) during his A-Levels whilst having £30 a week EMA, but saved no money at all

It's really rude to ask a question like this. Not all of us conform to the western capitalist societal norms of a "job". just so you know.
Some of us have rich parents.

No, I mean I've applied for so many jobs since last year but failed. I've got good qualifications for someone my age, did a bit of experience in the summer at my cousin's shop, have done loads of voluntary stuff with the council which I got involved in when I was in secondary school, but still, nothing.
My friend has a job at Waitrose and lied a lot in his application, rofl. Maybe that's what I'll do ;)

..Roy, that's pretty amazing......I'm full of admiration for you...I'm sure you will get to teach at university level and be an incredible mentor and inspiration to your students....

I don't have a job yet, I've only really been looking the last couple of months. Most of my friends got jobs as soon as we finished school but for some reason I just didnt and now I feel like i'm a year behind everyone :s
plus i'm very picky, I only want to work for high street names http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/c3ed7b23.gif

I'm like a mercenary except instead of killing people I sort out their paperwork and taxes and such.

Oh I see, yeah its a tough climate but keep trying I guess, I was chatting to a young guy on the till at Sainburys the other day (gathering info in my quest to get son no.1 a p/t job) and he said he applied months and months ago online, didnt think it was going to happen and they called him up out of the blue. Maybe get your friends who are working to put a word in for you, sometimes its who you know not what you know unfortunately.
