So finally Diana has pulled her finger out of her backside and is now preparing for the release of her second album:

Diana Vickers has confirmed plans to release a second studio album.

The singer announced that she is currently shooting the music video in Los Angeles for the collection's lead single, which is expected to be released later this year.

"On set for my new music video for my 2nd album!! So so so so excited!!!!!" Vickers tweeted.

The announcement follows a number of track leaks from Vickers throughout 2012, which the star confirmed would not feature on the new set.

Previously speaking about the sound of her new material, Vickers said: "It's between Kylie and Madonna, but early days.

"They've been my inspiration. Pop's the way forward, so I'm going to keep it very pop."

Vickers's new album will serve as the follow-up to 2010's Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, which topped the UK chart.

I wasn't even referring to any members in that Madonna thread tyvm. Jokes are fine, I even mentioned in a recent Madonna thread that I've made loads of jokes about her age. When I refer to ageism I mean the people who insist she shouldn't make music anymore because she's in her 50s

Okay, you posted about ageism under posts which could be interpretted as ageist comments, so of course it's going to look like you're referring to them :pipe:

Proper shame.

But her 1st stab at chart success wasn't that great....Yeah she had a number 1 album but it fell out of the charts like a 9/11 victim from the 90th floor.

Shes done well in the theatre though I give her that the girl has done good for herself.


Had the pleasure of meeting her when I worked backstage at G-A-Y shes like a china doll on acid lol.
