I think it's a very worrying development. It's one thing having armed security guards protecting the school but it's totally different having armed teachers looking after the class.
Throwing more guns at the problem of there being too many guns won't solve it.
And what happens when a disgruntled teacher goes mental with his state issued gun and then there will be probably armed assistant teachers who's job will be to keep an eye on the teacher and shoot them if they go out of control.

Has there ever been a case of a teacher shooting up a school? I don't think i've ever heard of that.
it doesn't say anything about guns being specifically issued to teachers, it says that teachers who are already licensed to carry weapons would be allowed to bring them to school if they choose. The school itself is not arming any teachers.

****ing idiots. It's like trying to fix a flooded building by pouring more water into it. The entirety of America is just utterly moronic in their attitude to guns. It's bewildering.

no, what you just posted is moronic. you've obviously never lived in America. But keep being racist to make yourself feel better about your own crap nation.
America would be sooo much better, if instead of a bunch of kids being killed bya maniac with a gun, we just had them all burned to death by a maniac with a pack of matches, like in the UK.
That would be soooo much better. I sooo wish we could be as civilized as the UK.
