View Full Version : Do you consider yourself an organised person...
..whatever you're doing..getting ready for work/to go out..preparing for a holiday...planning a get together with friends etc...do you organise things carefully or is it all fairly much left to the last minute and you just have confidence it will all come together ok..?...

Fail to prepare. Prepare to fail.
I flit between organised/unorganised with absolute ease. I'm very organised when it comes to work/money etc, but I'm happy to play things by ear when it comes to social events / arranging stuff with friends.
I love lists and packing suitcases and getting ready for big things

I'm definitely very last minute... BUT i'm very organized in my head as to exactly what i need to do at the last minute...
I plan ahead that i will be doing everything at the last minute, so it's still kinda organized.

I think so, I've been away a lot in the last couple of years so my packing skills are now much better than they used to be and I'm forever making lists of stuff I have to do/bring. I'm not big on last minute things, like I'd always rather have a ticket for something in advance rather than turn up and see if I get one.
It varies with me tbh, with some things I'm super organised almost verging on OCD then other things i'm really laid back and just wing it.

If waking up out of bed 40 minutes late and getting to work half an hour late counts, then yes

In the home i'm a bit more relaxed but on holiday I'm a bit more regimented.. Scared of losing belongings/ money or forgetting passports/ children....

I'm really organised with my belongings, my house etc.
At work my desk used to have to be clear of clutter with everything having a place or I couldn't concentrate.
But when it comes to deadlines for uni or planning things I'm very laid back and do things last minute. I get really stressed and vow never to do it again but it always happens.

..yeah, that's me as well..I prefer to just go with the flow on most things but there is other stuff I'm really OCD about, like my own personal stuff and having it just in a certain way and where I want it...one of the things I found quite hard over the last few years is when the boy's girlfriends borrow stuff and don't put it back exactly where it was lol...I guess living in a male house I've never really been used to people touching my stuff before...
..I'm getting a bit more used to it now..but I still don't like people touching my stuff and not putting it back exactly where I lest it...
