I know, but I don't understand why. Same with Paris Hilton before her, I don't understand why these non-entities suddenly became famous for absolutely no reason. At least with other celebrity train wrecks they used to be actresses or models, like Lindsay Lohan or Tara Reid... the Kardashians and Hiltons of this world are famous for absolutely no reason, why do people put them on this pedestal? It's ridiculous.

I think they are deplorable people for turning their family life into a television show. Her father is dead, she's profiteering from the fact her father successfully defended the most guilty murderer in recent memory and there's no bones about it. I don't care that she has a hot body or she has a line of perfume, she's a leech and it sickens me that people look up to her. She got famous for ****ing Brandy's brother and she got more famous for ****ing Kanye. She's a tramp and I don't like her.

Maybe not the young people of today, but for anyone who was old enough to be aware of the OJ Simpson trial, Robert Kardashian would have been a household name. This was a famous sports star on trial for murder and his lawyer successfully defended the case, despite the evidence stacked against Simpson and the fact he later wrote books about how he would have done it if he did it.......... Kim Kardashian and the rest of their family are somebodies because of that. Her mother was friends with Nicole Brown Simpson, they were Hollywood limpets and they turned their lives into a spectacle for all to see. Kim Kardashian is a personality vacuum, she is a pointless celebrity and there is a huge difference between manipulating your life for money and being smart. That's all I have to say on the matter. I think Ray J's song about her is a pathetic attempt to cash in on the Kardashian bull**** and it's disappointing.

The one thing I'm not doing is taking her seriously, quite the opposite. I think her status as celebrity is everything that is wrong with Western culture. Think about it, we're idolising her for releasing a porn tape of herself and the ensuing attention seeking she's done in the years since. She's all over the media, she has her own TV show, her own fashion lines and she turned herself into a big enough deal that she got invited to the kinds of parties that the big A-listers get to go to. There is something very wrong with the fact you don't have to work very hard to get to be famous nowadays. Famous people used to be hard workers who were worth idolising. Kim Kardashian hasn't got an original idea in her head, she's just copied Paris Hilton's "rise to fame" every step of the way. She doesn't have to make it in Hollywood, she's got a baby with Kanye West now - that relationship will burn out when he eventually realises she's a leech and she'll become just like her mother, someone who sponges off the talent of others.

Society doesn't idolise Kim Kardashian, her fans are a very small section of it and it's not like she's some respectable figure. She isn't everywhere, name me her last television appearance in the UK apart from anything on E! channel. I bet it's the same thing over in the US.
