Tiger Woods could be disqualified from the Masters over claims he took an illegal drop.

The world number one suggested his drop at the 15th was taken "two yards away" from the original position, which should have incurred a two-stroke penalty, one more than his final score.

"He may liable to disqualification from the Masters," said the BBC's golf correspondent Iain Carter.

Very proud of Tiger's performance and feel quite bad for him TBH. That 15th hole cost him a 3 point swing and in general he has not had much luck the last 4 day's. Day and Scott in particular have had the major rub of the green smashing shots into trees and still bouncing back out into the fairway

None the less happy to see Tiger MK3 instead of the poor Tiger MK2
