This is a little taken from another forum. Does anyone know if this is true and when it happened? I missed it:sad: Anyone have more info on it? Making it quite a big deal on other forums but I didn't see it.

Glyn has just said that he and other welsh speaking kids at his school do not speak or associate with what he calls "English kids" at his school.

He said that 60% of the pupils were what he called Welsh and 40% were English. Glyn said his sixth form common room the welsh on one side and the english speakers on the other.

glyn saying that he goes to a bi-lingual school but they dont mix. the english speakers are on one side of the commmon room and the welsh are on the other side

imo asks how many

glyn says not half. more like 60% welsh

suz asks how is there english there

glyn saying that the boys are welsh, but their parents are welsh

glyn saying that the english speakers like to pretend they're better than the welsh because they can speak english better than the welsh speakers

imo saying maybe they are afraid to speak welsh

Hope that clarifies once again that he doesn't hate us English. Glyn haters do tend to twist things and make mountains out of mole hills. Anyway since when did Glyn have anything against anyone English in the house when his mates are English apart from Imogen.

He said it yesterday but it's no big deal. It probably won't make the highlights.

Hopefully this whol experience has changed Glyns views on stuff like this. He really does seem to have grown in the house.

I think as he is 18 if he does think wales is better that is only down to the way he has been brought up.

Why are 40% of the kids English at a school in remote Wales? Do you not think that maybe the locals are a bit concerned that they are being invaded?

Look people, everyone at the school is Welsh so it's not even an issue.
