Depends where you go to, if you just stick to the main subreddits, then I agree, the smaller ones are better

Imgur is definately the best image uploader these days, Tinypic has gone all weird, and Photobucket is crap.

Lots of people do! I use imgur all the time and I have been on the front page because my image got so popular, I felt like a celebrity. :P It takes a while to get used to how it works and to understand the community, but most people browse imgur mainly because they don't like or understand reddit.
