I don't believe in heaven or hell, but I'm quite sure if there is such a thing, the only way for her is down!

Neither exist, unfortunately. I'd actually be in favour of her going to what Catholics describe as 'limbo' LOL, where people who were neither good nor bad go.

Think limbo was abolished. All those poor babies.

Yeah, I do remember reading an article dated to 2007 where they scrapped it (in recent years - I was too young to take it in properly then). It was a bit odd to just drop it after thousands of years but all for the right reasons and all. Most of it was sickening for sure.

More religion bashing.

Roman Catholics believe in purgatory. Judging from what is said about it being the "final purification", the majority of people will go there since nobody is completely sin free.

Hell. The damage she caused to this country, and her flagrant disregard of the problems she caused for people are more than enough to send her to hell I think.

There's no heaven or hell, but she caused a lot of people to suffer which is irredeemable in my opinion.

If there was such places and I cannot say there isn't because we won't really know until we ourselves die for sure.
However, I wouldn't wish for anyone not to go a better place.

I do love the furnace jokes though from Vicky and lee, good one.

If there is a better place, call it heaven or whatever, then I hope she is shown the error of some of the worst things she has done as well as also recognition for her achievements too.

As for going to hell for doing bad things.
I have said this before that I have never understood the logic or concept or hell, since the devil would want people to offend any God and others by causing chaos and disruption in the World, why on earth would he then punish them in hell for doing so, they would be his heroes not souls to be punished.

The doctrine of purgatory has been discarded by the RC church, if I remember correctly, which must cause great comfort to the suffering parents of children who passed away, to be told their children we're stuck there by the church.

I am not too sure as to that JHC, just spoken to a Cousin who attends Church regularly and she still gets asked to pray for the souls in purgatory by the Nuns.

I think that Limbo as a place where unbaptised babies went was 'abolished' but it was never actually official dogma anyway. Purgatory as the place where people go temporarily to be purified is still taught by the Church though, I've always pictured it as being like the waiting room at the doctors, except you're normally there for hundreds of years or something like that

I'll take your word on that then Joey, as she would know for sure. It's still crazy, that in the year 2013 we're talking about holding cells for souls.

Another really well-rounded post, Joey. That actually made for quite an interesting read.

According to the Bible actually nobody is going to eigther Heaven or Hell until the day of Judgement. until then all dead people are just in the ground. The bible says that nobody goes to heaven or hell until Jesus returns and judges the living and the dead.
