Why not make some home movies? Have some fun. I'm in the process of converting all my home movies to DVD. Why not give this a try. Perhaps you could try looking at old photographs. What if we all choose and post our favourite Paul and Helen photos. Perhaps we could say what they mean to us. Let's try and remember good times before 9/11. It is now obvious to me that this was a chemical formula. 9 x 11= 999. Emergency. If I'm right there is now someone who will listen to your calls.

Well, basically I have been watching and observing the world for the last 37 years and a lot of things now begin to become clear. I have suffered from tremendous depression for the 23 years, My Father nearly died in 2004. My family had to rally round to look after him, I worked for an ENTIRE year without a holiday. All I'm asking of you and everyone on this forum is that you just sit down and enjoy life. I've had a ROTTEN time in the last 23 years. I've tried to be NICE to people but they just DON'T listen to me. All I'm asking of the people on this forum and shortly other forums around the world is that they just sit down and appreciate what they've got. I'm FED up with all the NEGATIVITY in this world and I'm going to try and do something about it. Does that make me WEIRD? WHAT IS IT WITH YOU PEOPLE ANYWAY. I'VE TRIED TO BE FRIENDLY WITH YOU AND WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU CALL ME WEIRD. I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU ALL TO GO TO HELL AND THEN WHERE WOULD YOU BE??????. THINK ABOUT PAUL' S INITIALS WHAT DO THEY REMIND YOU OF? P. C. WHAT COULD THAT STAND FOR I WONDER? COULD IT STAND FOR : PEOPLE CARRIER, PROGRAMME CONTROLLER, POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, PEOPLE CLERK. IN THE END I COULD SEE THAT THIS SITE WAS CRYING OUT FOR MORE ON PAUL AND HELEN SO I TOOK THE TROUBLE OF WRITING IT DOWN ON PAPER. IT TOOK A LOT OF TIME BUT IT WAS WORTH IT BECAUSE IT MADE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAPPY. I THEN TOOK THE TROUBLE TO MAKE A TAPE OF IT AND I SENT IT TO JAMES WHO THEN PUT IT ON THE NET FOR ME. IT WAS GREAT IT MADE PEOPLE EVEN MORE HAPPY. ALL I WANT IS FOR EVERYONE TO BE HAPPY. THAT'S ALL I'VE EVER WANTED IN LIFE BUT PEOPLE JUST WON'T LET ME GET ON WITH IT. WOULDN'T IT BE BETTER TO BE NICE TO ONE ANOTHER FOR A CHANGE. WHY NOT TRY IT YOU MIGHT YOU ACTUALLY GET SOMEWHERE IN LIFE. OR HADN'T YOU CONSIDERED THAT? WHY NOT SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER FOR A CHANGE. I HAVE OFFERED TO HELP YOU TIME AND TIME AGAIN AND I'M LOSING MY PATIENCE. OK SO THIS MIGHT BE WEIRD BUT SO WHAT. USE YOUR BRAIN FOR ONCE INSTEAD OF INSTANTLY BEING NASTY TO EACH OTHER. DOESN'T IT MAKE MORE SENSE. YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE WITH THIS ATTITUDE. WHAT HAVE YOU TO GAIN FROM IT? THE ANSWER IS NOTHING. NOW IF YOU HAD A DISAGREEMENT WITH SOMEONE WHY NOT DISCUSS CALMY AND COLLECTEDLY WITH THIS PERSON AND TOGETHER YOU CAN COME UP WITH A SOLUTION. THIS IS A SIMPLE FORMULA. WHY NOT TRY IT? YOU NEVER KNOW YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY GET SOMEWHERE. BUT I'M AFRAID AT THE MOMENT YOU WON'T GET ANYWHERE. WHAT'S THE POINT IN CALLING PEOPLE NAMES AND BEING GENERALLY DISRESPECTFUL? WHAT DOES IT ACHEIVE? VERY LITTLE IS THE ANSWER. THE KEY TO LIFE IS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND THAT'S WHAT I'M TRYING TO ACHIEVE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT FAIR ENOUGH. BUT DON'T SPOIL IT FOR OTHER PEOPLE. THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENED TO THIS FORUM. IT USED TO BE SUCH A WONDERFUL FORUM WHERE PEOPLE COULD COME AND DISCUSS THINGS. IT WAS WONDERFUL. AND NOW LOOK AT IT. ALL I'M SAYING IS THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK. Im sorry to hear about your troubles- Ive had my fair share recently, too.

But what are you saying, in a nutshell, sir? Do you know Helen or Paul?

The relevance to Helen and Paul is that for the last 5 years we've all been hoping that they would get married etc. We've looked out for any tiny morsel of news regarding their future. BB2 contains lots of happy memories involving the two of them together. All I'm saying is perhaps it might be an idea focus on these instead of getting down about the relationship coming to an end. Let's keep hope alive. I think the world DESPERATELY needs all the hope it can get right now, don't you? It wouldn't do any harm would it? Tell me what you think. Thanks CC1000. I didn't mean to snap at you earlier. It's just that I think that sometimes we need to step back and realise what we've got. To appreciate family and friends and just get on and enjoy life. That's what life SHOULD be about, don't you think?

First of all I would like to again apologise for some of the comments I made at the weekend as you can perhaps appreciate I was very confused and upset.

As for Helen and Paul I would think that although they probably won't get back together, they will probably always have some form of relationship with each other. They have, after all, been through so much together. I should think they'll always be the best of friends. Maybe that's all they need.

Fair point, but a lot of couples intend to stay friends but it rarely happens.

Very true. When you think about it though, Helen and Paul are no ordinary couple. They met and fell in love on television where their every move was scrutinised. When they left the house they were subjected to constant media intrusion. They had to face a hostile press that seemed determined to break them up. They survived this and had a relationship that lasted for nearly 5 years. I would imagine that they've formed an unusually close bond due to the pressure that the media put on their relationship. It must have seemed like you and me against the world at times. Whatever happens to them I sincerely hope that they both find happiness for the future

Indeed- we all wish them well on here, no doubt about it.

I agree that theyve made a close bond and probably will be there for each other but when they move on, as we know Helen has, then they will move further away from each other emotionally.

But saying that, I understand your point. They had a good 5 year relationship and they and we should be happy for that, but its still sad........
