My next trip is going to be South America next year and although I have friends who have been there/live there I was wondering if anyone here has been before and can share any good input as to what to see, where to go etc.
Or if anyone sees Chuck online get him to message me.

I was watching The Beach the other night. Quite a good film, but it reignited my desire to travel.
Wish I had the guts and the resources to just pack a bag and go.

Oh wonderful. Thanks for that Leon. I don't want beautiful women, too much competition.

Yeah, I don't think my flame will ever go. So I'm having to encorporate it into my life, which is bloody challenging at times.

I went to Rio's Carnival in 2000 and briefly visited Buenos Ires. I wanted to go to Iguassu Fall but the time has run out and did not make it. (Iguasse Fall, I want to go one day.)
I loved Rio as there were amazing scenic places to see.
But as Nicole mentioned, the security may be a problem.
One night my husband and I came back to a hotel near the Copacabana Beach carrying a camcorder. The hotel manager straight away told me not to walk streets carrying camcorder/camera as we could had been a muggers' target.
Then this was more than thirteen years ago, I have no idea the current situation.
You are only young once, Ben. Try anywere if you have an opportunity.
