I loves a good pitch invasion

BLUEBIRDS BLUEBIRDS BLUEBIRDS

boom time for welsh footie....2 welsh sides in the top league for first time ever......

I wonder if theyll take a few games across the road to the millennium stadium, as the cardiff city stadium only holds about 27000

whereas cardiff v man utd/liverpool/swansea/chelski/arsenal/spurs would all get over 40,000

Should have took a page out of Swanseas book on how to a run a club instead of selling their soul to Asia

theyll make tidy wedge next season.......they have backers worth over £500 million, theyll be shifting thousands of the new red kits in malaysia, a nice stadium, world class training facilities at vale of glamorgan and the option to rent millennium stadium

I think youll be significantly suprised how many fans will come out of the woodwork to follow the bluebirds

the main problem theyll need to overcome is the minority of idiots who follow the team
whilst the atmosphere is generally electric in cardiff and crowd trouble has fallen greatly, there are still a few hundred nutters who need a padded cell

they need to somehow make it more family orientated

Theyll get additional sponsors, with a strong squad, quality manager, the hype will be massive in the welsh media and papers.....I think theyre here to stay for many years...But the first year is the most crucial...get through that and reinvest smartly as the swans have done and who knows?

the sports report says cardiff will make £80 minimum from promotion (partly because the sky deal has increased by 70% to over £3 billion
it also says its estimated to make £120 million for the economy, the former first minister of wales, rhodri morgan, has written a letter asking the premier league, the welsh FA and the welsh rugby union to sit down and discuss cardiff playing some games at the millennium stadium. got to be done surely

aye my mistake lol redbirds now...a small price to pay for malaysian billionaire Mr Tan getting cardiff into the premiership.........supposedly he did it to sell the clubs image and jerseys in asia when red is the colour they worship....same in wales too
