..wow, what a powerful message Caitlin...if only it were that simple for everyone though, it's such a struggle for some people to just get through childhood..bullying, parents divorcing etc...but I love the message, 'with only a piece of chalk'...

i don't think it will ever be that simple. but i like the message of working hard for something you love and using it to distract yourself from the world... a lot of talented people had crappy lives growing up and using that talent to distract themselves got them to where they were.

i just love seeing things like this.

god knows how the kid is this good at dancing so young though. he must have started when he was very young.

..yeah, I think in extreme cases, in order to self preserve and survive, they have to create their own world and in some cases I guess that can lead to finding talents within themselves that perhaps they never would have if things had been different..?..that's really thought provoking...and some of the struggles that children go through are heartwrenching, distraction from realities is all they have...I love the message too because it's so very difficult helping them believe in themselves and their abilities and that none of the bad things are their fault at all...
