Katy Perry's dad calls her a devil child

Katy Perry has reportedly been branded a "devil child" by her preacher father.

The 'Teenage Dream' singer's father Keith is said to have broken down in tears watching his daughter perform, as fans are worshipping her instead of God, The Sun reports.

Keith Hudson and wife Mary Perry - who are devout Pentecostal pastors - are currently touring US churches.

He allegedly asks visitors to "pray for Katy", as she needs "healing" following her successful pop music career.

Speaking in Santa Fe Springs, California, Keith reportedly said: "They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?

I was at a concert of Katy's where there were 20,000. I'm watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church.

"I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They're loving and worshipping the wrong thing."
