Even and if it them section volume bars has to be an even number of them lol
..I can't really say that I have a specific volume, it depends on what I'm watching..what is really annoying though is if I'm watching an old black and white movie on TCM and the sound quality isn't so good, so I have the volume quite high..then the ads come on and suddenly I'm both deaf and having heart failure at the same time...

Mine doesn't have numbers but I'm at my dads atm and when I get back to my mums we've got a 42-inch now, she got it this weekend :amazed: so maybe this one has numbers

LOL. Big brother was the worst for that. Many a night I was watching live feed and had to have the volume right up to hear anything, then the ads came on and woke the whole house up

You already made a thead like this a few months ago, Marc... didn't you?
I still have my remote on 13 because it's the ideal volume.
Marcus.

..yeah, I remember that sometimes I would have the volume up because all the housemates were quietly chatting on the sofas and I'd drift off to sleep with the TV still on..then an argument would break out by the pool or something and I'd be woken up with shouting and screaming all around..sometimes I would think for a few seconds that people were in my bedroom having an argument lol...it actually could be quite a scary thing to hear when you're still half asleep....

Even numbers usually. Or ending on a 5.

I don't have numbers, but if I did it would have to be even, wouldn't be able to live with myself otherwise. Well actually it's more to do with prime vs composite. 15 for example is fine, but 17 I want nothing to do with.

I don't care, it really bothers Gav if I leave it on an odd number though, I just press it until it sounds right tbh

It can never be on 13, which is annoying since usually 12 is too quiet and 14 is too loud on my TV.
Don't know why it's a thing for so many people to need it on odd/even numbers, just put it on whatever damn volume you feel is appropriate
Also I swear you made a thread like this relatively recently Marc, this is just taking the piss now
