I've clung onto mine for around 4 years now and it's finally dying so I'm forced to get a new one. I wan't something in the £100-200 price range and it will be on pay as you go. Any suggestions?

Oh and I only like Nokia's :idc:

My last two phones were Nokias, but I got talked into a Galaxy Ace, nice user friendly phone.

I was looking at the Lumia ones. Think that's what I'm gonna go for.

Nokia 3310 tbh

In hindsight that was the best phone ever! I smashed mine to bits, dropped it in water, flung it at walls etc and it still always worked

I did used to have that phone. It survived everything I accidentally inflicted on it as well LOL was it around in like 2002 or something?

Windows phones are okay if you don't care for apps, but there just isn't much too them. I have a HTC Windows and when my ccontract is up in June, I won't be going a Windows again!

Yeah, around then, maybe 2001 actually.

I think you should go for an HTC this Tom tbh.. They're great phones

I'm not a massive tech kind of person so not big on all the fancy phones. Plus aren't the types with all apps and stuff better if you're on a contract? I want to stay pay as you go if I can.

Na of course not :D all modern phones have WiFi, I take it you have WiFi at home? Dowload apps when you're at home, I think you'd be better off getting an Android phone in the 100-200 pound bracket, but that's my view :)

Hmmm, yeah looking at the Nokia's they do seems to be slacking apart from the Lumia

I would personally suggest the new HTC One.

I think all Nokia's are all Windows now anyway as Nokia have given up on their own operating system. If you want a Windows, you should look into a HTC Mozart, the one I've got, 8-Mega Pixel Camera, sleek and fast, good processor, 8GB of storage, was 100 quid when I got it but probably cheaper now

Yeah noticed they are windows. I always liked the old Nokia touches. Will just keep browsing through different ones. I'm more fussy than I thought LOL

Sadly you won't find a Windows-less Nokia anymore! And I'm just as bad when it comes to picking phones, my contract ends early July and I'm already deciding on the next one LOL

I'm now thinking of the Lumia 520 hmmmm

Jake.

Bloody hell lol  I'd honestly go with the HTC, better cameras, usually far less sluggish etc

I'm one of the most indecisive people ever LOL

Jake.
11-05-2013, 11:10 PM
But at the same time both are Windows 8 so it's not going to be a huge difference, but the fact you prefer Nokia isn't really relevant when bith are on the same operating system lol

The 520 is only around £100 though and looks better.

Jake.
11-05-2013, 11:22 PM
Then you might be better going off for that :) I only meant that there is no point choosing Nokia if that's what you're used to, because nowadays it's just a Windows phone with the word Nokia stuck on top

11-05-2013, 11:23 PM
Yeah I knew what you meant LOL I'll just see when I go down on Monday

Jake.

Fair enough then :) I love choosing a new phone, might go for the HTC One this time!

I'm glad I got it over the 520 really, a lot more apps and stuff. And I love the tiles thing on it. So overall a good choice.

Good old Nokia :pipe:

Yeah it seems more promising than the 520, I have the tiles but I don't think I've much attention to them

I probably won't now I've got them sorted. Just wanted the ones I'd use most near the top

Yeah, having messages and camera right there comes in handy
