The People's Daily Newspaper's new headquarters is currently being built, so the end result of the building is currently unclear.

However, users of social media have been quick to point out the current building's resemblance to genitalia.
Censors from the government-run newspaper have been trying to stop such comments, but some have been missed.
One user wrote on the Chinese version of Twitter: "It seems the People's Daily is going to rise up, there's hope for the Chinese dream."
Another commented: "Of course the national mouthpiece should be imposing."
