So, everybody else appears to be making poll threads so I thought why don't I join the party...

Question is, well, what you've read in the thread title...

For me I brush my teeth first then use mouthwash.

Jesus.
14-05-2013, 01:46 PM
Why would anyone do it before?

You nutter

Mouth wash first
Then Teeth Clean

If you use Mouthwash after that
it washes away all the Protection from the Brush and paste

Alright, steady on. Make it seem like I've just shot my parents for them not doing what I wanted, and then asking 'is it against the law, despite them ignoring what I wanted them to do'?

I only use it when i'm obsessing about my mouth. but mostly, no, i don't use it. it stings like a bitch. seriously it hurts.

It literally feels like your mouth is full of acid. and then you go into this weird place in your head that says "well don't be pussy, keep it in longer". The longer you keep it in the tougher you are, so then it turns into like a competition with yourself, how long can i stand it.

It is very painful though.

Take it you're using mouthwash with alcohol in it?

Take it you're using mouthwash with alcohol in it?

Listerine. (it was originally designed as a cleaning product for linoleum floors.)

MTVN
14-05-2013, 02:12 PM
I occasionally use it at home if it's in the bathroom but when I'm at Uni it's just another thing I have to think about and buy for myself which is too much hassle

Ryan57
14-05-2013, 02:13 PM
Listerine.

Yeah, has alcohol in it. Believe you can get one without it from them. It is horrid to use, but makes your mouth smell lovely. Personally use Aquafresh. <3

I don't mind the burn, i just imagine all the germs and bacteria being killed, i imagine them stabbing my mouth in a last ditch effort to save themselves, so i think about them being burned.

I'm proving myself to be a real man. Like a Klingon.

It really does hurt though.

..yeah it does if you do it straight away Arista..but not if you wait about 30/40 minutes..it's the same principle as when you eat fruit..you don't brush your teeth straight after because the fructose softens the enamel and you'll just wear that away..you wait awhile...it's the same kind of thing when you use mouthwash after brushing your teeth...

The mouthwash washes away the germs that are scraped off your teeth when you're brushing.

To keep the protection of the toothpaste, my dentist said leave it 30 minutes before using the mouthwash.

You need to Stop Smoking

People are aware that smoking is a waste of money and good health but they (including me) simply enjoy it, so it isn't your place to tell people to stop. Other people are trying to cut down or quit, in which case you lecturing them is completely useless and futile. Give it a bloody rest. :bored:
