In my opinion their songs have been getting worse and worse, especially the lyrics, it sounds like no effort was put into them at all, heard that Gentleman song on the radio yesterday, it is just a crime against music.
What is your opinion though?
Jessica.

Oh no, I clicked on allow multiple votes instead of make votes public, sad times.

Fine, generic. Less annoying faces than Girls Aloud.
Clicked 'I like them but the music could be better', their earlier songs like Up, Forever Is Over & Ego are a lot better than any of their recent stuff

Great pop tunes, easy to listen to and on top of that seem like nice girls.
I'm a fan.
They seem like nice people and a couple of their songs are genuinely very good; but Rochelle Wiseman irritates the **** out of me, two of them are pathetically bad singers, one of them is pretty bad but she's so cocky about herself that she takes lead vocals a lot, two of them are actually good singers but one of them has been having very obvious problems with her vocals for years now and I really do wonder how they've managed to be around for so long. They've basically thrived because for most of their career, they have been the only girl group in the UK and the UK loves girl groups. Girls Aloud and Sugababes both ended just as The Saturdays were starting out, and it's only recently that Little Mix and Stooshe were launched, so they've pretty much been allowed to peddle ****e music for the last 5 years unchecked.
Up, Higher, All Fired Up and What About Us are good pop songs, but they'd be good songs regardless of who sang them. They've never once released a song that's defined them, they just chase trends and are wholly pointless entities.

I don't really like them as people, they all blend into the same airhead for me. However, they've done some really good tunes (or rather, their team have).

Would bang Una, the rest can go ****.
Can't sing = Mollie and Frankie
Can't sing but confident enough to go with her limited abilities = Rochelle
Can sing = Una
Can sing but having problems = Vanessa
I mean it's actually laughable when you watch them give a live performance, because it's never truly live. I'm not talking about when they do playback or lip sync, I'm talking when you have Vanessa, Una and Rochelle singing live and you have Frankie lip syncing and Mollie singing over a loud backing track; and inevitably you'll have Vanessa fail to hit the big notes because her voice has deteriorated over time.
This is a good example, at 2:45-2:56

I mean it's just sad, Vanessa used to be an incredible singer and now she really struggles to hit notes. Just watch any performance they give nowadays. You can tell when she's struggling because she looks up at the roof and her voice strains so hard; and she's surrounded by people who are only there because of their looks. At least Girls Aloud had three good singers to rely on.

Ego was flawless, it was pretty unique sounding and I thought they stood out from Girls Aloud etc.
Higher and Missing You are perfectly good pop songs as well but since theyve gone down the autotuned dance-pop route and tried to crack America its all gone tits up. The autotune on Notorious would embarrass even Kesha and All Fired Up/What About Us are beyond generic. They make even JLo's Live It Up sound emotional and highly personal. I still find them acceptable but they've completely lost their way.
